TRAPPED

THE SHORTEST WAR IN HISTORY

"Would you mind telling me what your plan is? " Asked Kira as she ran her hand up and down Liam's chest, his arm was resting round her and he wished time would stand still just for them.
"I do not want you obsessing over this, but if you're too curious all I can tell you is that I will not make a move until they're on my doorstep. "Liam told her and she didn't ask any more questions, even though his army seemed outnumber she believed he would keep her safe.
"Just be careful... I don't want to lose you " she told him and he looked down at her then smiled
"I am not going anywhere ". he assured her and attacked her lips again.

They stayed in his chambers until a frantic messenger came to report that Prince Hakeem and his men were just a few minutes away from the castle.
Liam quickly got out of bed and dressed up.
"Stay in this room no matter what okay?"He told Kira who quickly nodded
Giving her one last kiss, he dashed out and put more guards on the door as he hurried to meet the council
"Is the castle secured?"He asked as soon as he entered
"Yes your majesty, the entrance is shut and we have warriors on top "the army commander responded
"Good, any word from our spies?"
"They're ready to attack the deserted palace, just hiding and waiting for your command" he was told.
Liam nodded and took one of his  skilled fighters down to the dungeons where there was a secret door leading down into a tunnel which emerged into the forests just along the kingdom boundaries.

"Go as fast as possible and storm the castle with our undercover warriors, the men we paid to betray their king will join you too and if possible pay more men. Do not kill the king but take his crown and his golden staff. Once you have taken over the castle send word"he instructed and the man nodded, bowed and disappeared through the tunnels.

There were twenty men left guarding the Palace and out of that twenty, seven were undercover and five had been paid off. This made the attack very easy as they killed the remaining guards then opened the gates for more men who were warriors but had been living among the villagers just waiting for this day.
The king was taken aback and shocked at the turn of events, everyone was thrown in the dungeon and the king's crown and golden staff taken. He wished he could send word to Hakeem but alas there was no time.
Hakeem had surrounded Liam's castle and knew that sooner or later they would run out of food and surrender as he was intercepting all the deliveries, he had also injured some men who had been standing on the castle walls looking down at them, but injuring them had resulted in five of his men dying too after being shot from above. He had stopped attacking and was now searching to see an entry point to the castle.

While Hakeem was doing that Liam's man returned with crown and staff, Liam sent a few more men to join those holding the castle hostage, he told them to split into two groups, one should remain at the castle while the other one should follow and attack Hakeem's army from behind while Liam and the remaining men would attack head on from the castle.
Hakeem did not even see it coming, he was so confidence and cocky thinking he had a great army but when they got attacked from both sides and a few of his own men turned out to be traitors, he was dumbfounded. But the loyal warriors fault to the death until Hakeem was overpowered by Liam's army commander and dragged to Liam who was standing by the castle gates.
"Well well well, we meet again" smirked Liam as he dragged up a beaten down Hakeem and removed his royal seal from the robe.
"Surrender now!!!"He shouted to the warriors still fighting "not only do we have your crown prince here but we have invaded your palace and captured your king "he told them and showed them the crown and staff.
"Surrender and submit to my rule or die right now ".he gave them a rather difficult choice and slowly they dropped their weapons and bowed before him.

Hakeem was infuriated and still struggling in Liam's hand, he could not believe he had really lost. How did Liam get to his father?? He kept on wondering.
Liam dragged Hakeem to the dungeon, his stubborn and loyal warriors were killed in order to stop them from planning a rebellion. Liam ordered more men and his army commander to go to the other palace.
"Once there, send the king to me." he instructed then went to the dungeon to look at Hakeem. He was badly wounded but Liam wouldn't let him be taken care of by the doctor.
"Hello brother, how are you finding your new chambers?"He asked with a mocking smile and Hakeem spat in his face
"You can't keep me here forever"Hakeem spoke stubbornly as Liam wiped his face with a handkerchief
"You're right, I'll just have to kill you then"spoke Liam and even though Hakeem was putting up a tough front that scared him.
"Where's Kira?"Hakeem asked and Liam grinned broadly
"Oh she is in my chambers resting, we had such a wild day she needs to recover" as Liam was speaking Hakeem started fuming "she is so flexible and her moans are like a sweet melody "
"Shut up you bastard!!! You're lying, she would never do that!!"Hakeem yelled furiously
"Why not? She ran away from you, she ran to me and I received her with open arms, oh she was so sweet"

Hakeem sat back down and cowered in a corner hugging his legs and burying his head between his thighs. He knew it was all his fault, he had pushed Kira into the arms of another man and now he had cost his father the kingdom and maybe his life, he couldn't put up the tough act anymore, he just couldn't help breaking down in sobs
"Oh wow, I did not think you would break this easily. Calm down little brother, am not going to kill you, unless Kira tells me to do so" said Liam with a wink and he walked out of the dungeons leaving Hakeem stunned.

'Why did he call him little brother?' He wondered.
Liam finally went back to his chambers and as soon as he entered Kira ran to him and hugged him
"I was so worried, I almost came out to see what's happening "she said with relief
"I told you not to worry, the war is over".
It was definitely the shortest war in history.

He led her to the chair where he sat down and put her on his laps, her hands going round his neck
"So soon?"She asked, she thought it would take days, perhaps weeks
"Yes...I won "he confirmed proudly and she kissed his lips
"Am glad to hear that, tell me what happened and what will happen next " requested Kira but Liam leaned into her chest and started kissing around her breasts
"Don't I get a reward first?"He asked with a naughty smile and she giggled
"Okay, but afterwards you have to tell me everything "she said
"Deal" Liam pushed her down on the couch and took off his shirt.
