Se'aeylwa
He swam forward hastily, quickly mounting the tulkun's fin that we where standing on. Tsireya tread water behind him, her face tilted to the side in wonder. His slim body strutted towards us, his tightly wound braids loosening and swinging ever so slightly.
Lo'ak had grabbed his sisters hand, pulling her back slightly. Kiri tried to resist him, but to no avail she ended up being separated from me.
"Don't touch my sister" He sneers at me. My shoulders deflate as a frown makes it's way upon my face.
"Lo'ak-" Kiri tries to intervene. He gives her a harsh look, a silent plea to not continue. My head turns slightly as I hear water dripping. Aonung emerges from the sea, a confused expression settled on his face. He helps Tsireya stand on the tulkun's back all the while the Metkayina siblings stand, concern written in their eyes.
"What did you just say? "Aonung says, tilting his head too look predatory. The question really wasn't a question at all, it was a warning.
Lo'ak scoffs, dragging his sister, we don't hear much of their conversation, only the scolding of Kiri.
"You are so stupid!" She hisses at him in the distance. I tense my shoulder as Tsireya places a hand on my scarred flesh, only covered by my hair. I swiftly flinch away from her touch, facing her completely.
She must've felt the bumps along what what supposed to be my smooth skin. I try to walk away but my back is met with a hard chest. Aonung gives me a displeased look as Tsireya moves my overgrown curls out of the way. She softly gasps at the sight. Her fingers lightly prodding the area in curiosity.
"We must get mother to look at those" She whispered, trying to pull me along. I pull my arm back, taking her with me as I stride up to the tulkun's eye. I sign him a sweet goodbye, patting his head lightly while he reciprocates the farewell with a few noises.
We all call for an Ilu, but only two arrive, the children where still using the rest. I sigh. Today was not going well for me so far.
I make a different call, waiting for the familiar creature to surface. A disheartened smile makes it's way upon my face as I see the familiarly playful tsurak.
I coo at the creature, not paying attention to the thoroughly confused pair of siblings. Aonung coughs, a silent way of telling us we must go. He rolls his eyes playfully at Tsireya and I as we take time saddling onto our beasts.
I lift my leg up, holding the reigns of the tsurak with my hands sturdily as I glide along the water. It was awkwardly silent as I focused ahead of us.
"So...when did you learn to ride a Tsurak?" Tsireya kindy asks, staring at the animal gliding beside her.
"About a year ago" I respond quickly, remembering how hard it was to tame him.
"What is his name?" The boy to my right asks, suddenly including himself in the conversation.
