"Alright big guy, your code seems to be up to date, no tiny bugs or glitches to be seen!" One of the technicians exclaimed with a big smile. From was currently sitting in the cylinder, with Gregory still hiding in his stomach hatch.
"Well, that is great news! Does this mean no work needs to be done today?" He asks, making sure that the technicians don't get a surprise anyone should be expecting.
"Nope! It looks like you are all well. Are there any loose parts or dirty areas inside your stomach hatch today?" She asks as she opens the door to the cylinder and walks inside.
"No, not that I know of." The bear replies, hoping he can lie well enough. The technician stands there with her tablet, tapping a few things before speaking up once again.
"Alright, I trust ya. You are all set for today's final performance Fazbear." Freddy quickly makes his way off of the chair with a relieved smile. He thanks the technician and makes his way to his elevator. When the door closes, Gregory jumps right out.
"That was a close one." The little kid announces as he cracks his back. Freddy's smiling face soon turns to one of worry.
"You know Gregory, you must apologize to Sun and Moon for that disappearing act earlier today. You have to promise me that you will visit the daycare as soon as we get off this elevator." Freddy kneels on one knee to be at the child's height. Gregory turns around and faces his 'father figure' with a nervous chuckle.
"I completely forgot about that. But I promise I will stop by, were they worried?" He asks as he focuses his gaze on the floor. Freddy takes a deep breath and puts his hand on the kid's shoulder.
"Yes, extremely. They dropped your lunch trying to look for you. We also got Moon to patrol from the ceiling."
"I really messed up didn't I?" Gregory asks as the elevator door dings open. Freddy extends his plastic hand for the kid to grab too.
"Yes, you did. All you have to do is apologize and try not to do it again. But I'm going to issue you a warning. If something like this happens again, no Cupcake Factory for two weeks." The bear says as they make their way through the room behind the singer's green room. Gregory's mouth is wide open in a silent gasp.
"No Cupcake Factory!? That's harsh." He whines as Freddy closes his curtains and turns around.
"Indeed, it was pretty cruel to not let us know where you were going today. Making all of us worry and look everywhere for you." Freddy strikes back as he kneels on one knee in front of his kid. Gregory stands and thinks for a couple of seconds.
"I guess you're right. But I'll never acknowledge it." He finally says and stares up at bear with a shit-eating grin. Freddy knows that the kid is a little shit, but he has to learn that he now has people, well humanoid beings, that actually care about him. As soon as he closes the curtains to his room, Freddy opens the door and sticks his head out, making sure the coast is clear. He wouldn't want some unsuspecting karen yelling at the higher-ups that Freddy Fazbear had a private meet and greet with one kid.
"Alright Superstar, the coast is clear. Go and apologize to the twins then make your way to the atrium! I would be very sad if I didn't see your cute face in the crowd." The bear says as he turns around back into his green room. Gregory snickers and scrunches up his face at the bear's words.
