"Is he asleep?" Chica asks as Freddy comes walking through the door to his maintenance tunnel. It's around 2 am. Everybody but Chica has left by now to do their own thing.

"Yes, after about three bedtime stories." The bear chuckles as he sits down on the couch next to the chicken. Chica laughs as well as she pulls up her legs to sit cross-legged.

"So, why did you stay behind? I thought you and Roxy had a date at the Cupcake Shop?" Freddy asks. Chica starts playing with her hands.

"Well, it's not that serious, but tonight had me thinking. About them, I mean." She slowly says. The smile on the bear's face falls as he already knows what she's talking about.

"He caught me off guard too. I think you being here is a good thing. I don't know what to say to him. 'Hey, Gregory. We used to have two other friends who were part of the band. But they went all crazy, killing kids and almost killing us! We don't know where they are right now, but I'm happy to say it's been quiet for around five years.' Yeah, that'll get him to sleep at night." Freddy exclaims. Chica stays silent throughout his tirade.

"Well, maybe we'll tell him just that. Just in case, so he knows about the dangers. He does like to explore, right?" She says as she sits back on the couch, head-turning to make eye contact with the bear. He takes a couple of minutes to think things over. On the one hand, not knowing that two dangerous animatronics are roaming somewhere is dangerous. But if you think about it, that can leave the boy conscious about where he is and his surroundings. He simulates a sigh as he looks back up into his friends' eyes.

"I think you're right. But what if he doesn't want to stay? What if it scares him so much he just runs away, and I'll never see him again-"

"Freddy, based on the blossoming relationship between you and Gregory, I wouldn't worry about him running away." She interrupts her Friend's banter. Freddy nods at that statement and takes another deep breath. They both sit in comfortable silence, Chica with her legs still against her torso and Freddy resting his feet on the table.

"Thank you, Susie. I don't know what I'll do without you; you're the only one I have left." He finally says. Ears turning down.

"I know, Gabe. You keep saying that." The chicken laughs. She was resting her hand on the Bear's shoulder.

"But it's true. After the glitch was washed out of my system from the fall, I saw how you were acting. And Roxy, Monty, Sun, and Moon even. I was scared I was going to lose everyone. I thought I was going to lose you. And I don't think I can go through that much... grief." Freddy pours his non-existent heart out, now thinking about what if's. What if Chica was damaged permanently? What if she was broken beyond repair, and the company decided to scrap her and use her for parts. He's already seen what happened when they first woke up in the first location, then with the toys. Even though they didn't get along at first, they slowly became their family over the past four years it was open.

"Freddy." Was that a glitch too!? They were all normal until a week before the incident.

"Freddy." They started acting more aggressive and dismissive. They weren't acting like themselves. Was HE there? Was HE behind what happened!? Toy Bonnie biting into A kid named Jeremey Fitzgerald. The old Security Guard!?

"Freddy." Was that where he was hiding!? Was he developing the glitch at that time? But it couldn't be; it was 1987. Technology wasn't that advanced yet. But that's the thing; we existed at that time; the toys existed. We were all top-notch, so there could be a possibility that-
