Chapter 2: Mysterious Demon Smell

Tanjiro POV:
The last thing I remember was another smell of a demon, but it doesn't smell like Muzan's demon, it smelled like fresh fallen snow and a wild beast, that's all remember before I lost my consciousness, and that's what I told Shinobu-san after she examine me and ask a few questions, but I also leave a few details.

I was actually able to take a few glimpse of the demon before it knocks me out, It has a long blue hair that ends with back, and a dual swords, he also have a pair of bright blue horns in his forehead, but what caught my was attention was his eyes, his left eye upper part was blue that ends in green while the right eye was a rainbow coloured, both are have slits, half of his face was covered in a scarf that has a dripping liquid and some lotus and snow flakes design, he was also wearing a haori that matches his scarf.

"Tanjiro! Thank godness your alive!" My thoughts about that demon was suddenly interrupted when the door flung open revealing a crying zenitsu with a few bandages, he immediately rush toward me while ranting something that I didn't even understand.

"Where's Inosuke?" Zenitsu suddenly stop ranting and start crying harder at my question, I calmed him down because he wasn't able to answers due to him crying.

"He's...missing"

"What do you mean!? Where is he?" I ask a little anxious because of what he said, How long am I even unconscious? Is Inosuke's alright? Did that mysterious demon did something to him?

"No one knows where he is"

====A week later====

'What am I even doing here?!" I was internally panicking at this moment, Zenitsu and I was invited to the Hashira meeting.

"E-Excuse me master, may I ask why Tanjiro and I were invited here?" Zenitsu, out of nowhere ask

"Both of you, along with Tanjiro's sister and the Hashiras will be going to Naisho village in Mount Kaikoma, their was a saying that the mountain was being lured by demon's, and that they are being worship by the villagers"

"If the Hashiras are being sent their then why do we need to come along?" I ask, then out of nowhere a rock hit my head

'Yeah, Memories bring back'

"Don't ask the master for his reason, your job is to follow orders" Iguro-san, the snake pillar said while tossing a rock, I should just shut up from the start.

"It's alrighty Iguro-" the master paused then look at me "I received a message from a trusted friend saying that the demon who lure in the village are probably an Upper moon" he continued, then take out a note from his one of his sleeves

"Read this letter please"

"Good day, Oyokata-sama I just want to report about this village in Mount Kaikoma, a festival will be celebrated in a month here, this was not a normal festival, it's a festival for a demon or should I say demon's that are being worship, I sure that these demon's are not ordinary, they are probably part of the twelve kizuki, must be an uppermoon if I say, I just want you to send your Hashiras and the two guys named Tanjiro and Zenitsu, I will answer further questions when we all meet here..... From your beloved family"

In the end Zenitsu and I agreed to tag along
