𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬

Eggsy goes into the room first, unannounced.
"Ever heard of knocking?" Harry finished putting on some aftershave, greeting the pair, Alice closing the door.

"Only when I'm scaling a place to rob. Merlin said you wanted to see me. And Guinevere wanted to come." J.B starts to bark, Alice sitting on Harry's bed.

"I hope J.B's training is going as well as yours."
he fully turns, nodding to the agent and facing his recruit.

"Sit." Eggsy speaks sternly, J.B quieting down and sitting by his feet.

"Congratulations on making it to the final six candidates. Your test results were even better than I could've hoped." he smiles, earning a grin from Eggsy.

Two knocks on the door makes Harry point, "Come in!"

Merlin strides in, closing the door behind him and looking around the room. "Eggsy, I need to have a private conversation, you're dismissed." he brushes past the younger boy, about to adress the other two agents.

"Nonsense, let him observe, Merlin." Alice stands up next to Harry, Eggsy staying in his place and looking for a reaction.
"Maybe learn a thing or two." Harry also agrees, Merlin looks to and fro the group, nodding.

"As you wish. Take a look at this." he uses the 'clipboard' to change Harry's TV screen, footage from the night of Galahad's explosion begins playing, the mans head blowing up a few seconds after he was hit.

"Fucking hell! That is rank, Harry! You blew up his head? It's a bit much, innit?" he looks to his mentor, the only one in the room not watching the screen.

"Actually, the explosion was caused by an implant in his neck. Here, under the scar." he zooms in, a red glowing dot under the professor's skin now visible.

"Did my hardware pick up the signal that triggered it?"

"Fortunately, yes. Unfortunately, the IP adress I traced it to is registered to the Valentine Corporation." the screen changes again, Richmond Valentine's credentails and basic information now shown.

"That isn't much of a lead, then." Guinevere rolls her eyes, not very pleased. "He has millions of employees world wide."

Eggsy turns to her, "That Richmond Valentine is a genius." he nods and looks at the screen again, impressed. Then quickly turns when he notices the trio staring at him, confused.

"Did you not see his announcement today?" he smiles, feeling like the only smart one in the room. Each of them shake their heads, not knowing a thing of what he was saying.

Eggsy takes the pad from Hamish's hands, typing something into it and connecting it to the screen. The video of Richmond on a stage begins playing, "We each spend on average $2,000 a year on cell phone and internet usage. It gives me great pleasure to announce... those days are over! As of tomorrrow, every man, woman and child can claim a free SIM card, compatible with any cell phone, any computer, and utilize my communications network for free. Free calls, free internet, for everyone. Forever."

Merlin takes back the pad, only for it to be swiped by Alice. She pauses the video, zooming in to the woman's neck who stood on a stand, the same incision which was seen on Professor Arnold's neck.

"Valentine's assistant has the same implant scar. I think Mr Valentine and I should have a tête-à-tête." Harry takes the lead, smiling at the girl who high fives him.
