New York City

A young lady sits at her work desk typing out her boss' schedule. He had just told her to move all of his meetings from today to tomorrow. She dutifully agreed, even though in her head she was cursing him. She was the personal assistant to Benjamin Parker. He was one of the biggest Wolfs on Wall Street, specializing in Investment and Legal firms. He was good to her for the most part, despite him deciding that some random name he came up with sounded better than her real name. He made sure she knew the thick line between him as the boss, and her as the help.

"Hey I'm heading out for the day, when you get done with updating the schedule and calling the partners, take the day off. You deserve it." Benjamin smiles at her before turning away before she could reply. She huffed at his retreating figure before turning back to her computer. She looked at the time, he had only been in office for 20 minutes.

"Oh! I almost forgot, my nephew is coming to the office to pick up some things for me later this morning. He will be in and out of my office for a while, so don't panic if you see him. Alright? Have a good day Ellie!" He called over his shoulder as he pressed the button for the elevator.

'My name isn't Ellie, asshole.' The woman rolled her eyes at his lack of work ethic and began to make the phone calls.

"Yes, Mr. Parker will be available tomorrow. Mhmm. Yes Sir. Yes. Have a good day." She spoke into her phone before hanging up. She put the phone back on the device before leaning back on her chair with a stressed sigh. It was three hours later, and she had just finished rescheduling the last Partner meeting, having the person on the other side of the phone yell at her about it for 20 minutes before calming down. This meeting had already been rescheduled two times previously. He was right to be mad, so she made sure that he was the first meeting with Mr. Parker of the day.

Remembering Mr. Parker's words earlier, she packs her things and leaves the office. She steps onto the elevator, too engrossed in the game on her phone to see the other person next to her. He had medium brown hair that flopped onto his head in a sexy middle part. He wore a crisp polo shirt, and khaki pants that were so obviously steamed. His shoes were light brown Oxfords that were shined to perfection.

He oozed trust fund baby.

He glanced over at the woman, and was immediately enthralled with her beauty. Her tanned skin that looked ever so gently kissed by the sun, her eyes that were big and round envelopes by dark lashes. His favorite part about her though, was her lips were so perfectly full, so kissable.

He felt instinctively drawn to her, as if she had his heart already and he hadn't even heard her speak yet.

"Ehem" The man cleared his throat, trying to discreetly gain her attention. But she didn't even twitch. He breathed through his nose heavily for a second before he casually leaned in to see what she was doing.

"Candy Crush, hunh? I hear that's an addictive game." He speaks, this time his words reach her ears and she jumps, almost dropping her phone.

"Shit!" She curses before turning to look at the reason she was startled. She looks at the man, giving him a once over before she meets his blue eyes. Her heart lurched to her throat. She felt drawn to him, protective over him.

He was hers.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" She asks, shaking her head to clear her thoughts. What was wrong with her? She was acting animalistic. That's not attractive she thought to herself.

Her accent coating her words practically made him drool. Deciding that he had just found his favorite sound in the whole world, be continued talking to her.
