Can Bob Come Out to Play? SMG4 Bob X Reader

1 week later (its christmas)

Y/N's POV:

For the past week, I interacted with Bob more often.Things obviously weren't going well for him lately, so I needed to take the time to give him the support he needed. He also unblocked me, in case he needed to let out any hard feelings that he had, which he has a hard time with doing that.

So, I visited the castle to talk with my other friends too.

"Hey, Y/N!" SMG4 greeted me. "You're here in time for Christmas!"

"We missed you!" cheered Meggy. "Where have you been for the last week?"

I scratched my head and sighed. "Well, I was checking in on Bob."

Everyone was shocked, even Mario, who literally stopped what he was doing, which was of course, dancing naked in a big plate of spaghetti.

"Why would you encourage him? Are you even aware of how he treated us?" SMG4 asked in shock.

I then began to explain the truth about what Bob's been going through:

"Well, you see. Bob clearly didn't mean to upset you guys. He's just been going through a lot lately, and he needed help with expressing his feelings, and just took it out on us because he was so upset and wanted attention after being alone for so long. But he feels awful now for what he did. Trust me, Bob had a really bad meltdown last week, and he wouldn't stop crying until I calmed him down. Without being said, Bob's changing now, and regrets everything."

Everyone was speechless.

"Crap, we really did frick up..." SMG4 sighed. "I can't believe we didn't understand earlier! I feel so bad!" Tari sobbed. "Oh man, is there anything we can do to make up for it?" Fishy Boopkins asked. "I think I know just the thing!"

Bob's POV:

I sat there by myself, feeling the snowflakes slowly fall on my cloak. "Yup, this is the life." I smiled.
(Once again, what life?)

Then, I saw silhouettes up ahead. "Huh?" I said, as I looked closely. It was my former friends, and Y/N. Boopkins charged towards me and grabbed onto my cloak. "Oh Bob, we missed you so much!" Boopkins yelled. Toad rolled his eyes. "Speak for yourself." he murmured rudely.

"Y/N told us how you felt." Meggy said. "We've decided that..." Mario interrupted her. "We wanna be friends again!" He cheered. I felt my eyes glow, and I smiled happily. "Yeah, we want you to be our friend again!" Luigi chimed in. Saiko, however, didn't really seem to agree. "Friend is very strong word. More like acquaintance." she criticised the two brothers. I just ignored her. To be fair, she acted way worse before.

Bowser held up a red package. "We got a little something for you!" Meggy pulled Boopkins away from me. "Sorry about him." she apologised. Boopkins' grip was really strong for his age. I'm a bit confused how he didn't rip my cloak. Bowser gave me the package.

"Oh wow, really? For me?" I said excitedly.
I opened the package. It was a photograph of my friends, with a picture of me taped on. I was so heart touched, I started to cry.

"I swear I'm not crying." I sobbed happily. "My eyes are just pissing."

"Ok he opened it!" Tari yelled impatiently. "Can we open our presents?" Everyone nodded. I wiped my eyes and watched everyone else open their presents.

Tari got a wizard duck, which she was really excited about, Luigi got a gameboy, SMG4 got a meme bible, Toad got coal, Mario got a can of sprite cranberry, Saiko got a body pillow, Meggy got an anglerfish mask, Y/N got (insert something that you really want), and Bowser got a super crown.

"Bowser better keep that secure." I thought to myself, knowing what super crowns do. "Some things need to be used with caution to preserve world peace, and that's one example."

I looked next to me and see that Boopkins doesn't have a present. "Where's your present, Boopkins?" I asked him. He looked at me and smiled. "Oh Bob, my Christmas present has been here all along." "Interesting." I responded. "Come here you green turd, I missed you." I laughed playfully as I hugged the young spike. Boopkins giggled as the fabric of my cloak tickled his lime green skin.

I finally got the appreciation that I desired for so long.
