Dearest Brother,

I have just learned what was just sent to you in the other letter from the Matron. I apologies for what they have said. I hope they did not ruin your time in Rome with Lord Ruthven. I understand that you were excited for your travels.

I suggest you continue on your travels through Rome and wherever you wish to visit. I do not want you to return home in a foul mood because of that letter. Enjoy your travels for now. I still wish to hear all about your travels.

I do hope this letter does reach you before you leave Rome. I would have sent this sooner but the Matron told me that I should wait as we had just sent you a letter and I should leave you be. But I wanted to be sure you are alright. You are my brother, and I am full of concern.

Forget their words. Write to me if it bothers you. They know not of what they speak. The others have only spoken well of Lord Ruthven so I do not understand their criticism. His is your friend now is he not? Why should their words be a bother.

I miss you dear brother. But do not come home with such haste. I can deal with the matron myself if you so wish. Worry not.

With Love,

Your Sister
