Dearest Brother,
I am confused. Your friend has returned to England without you. I have not spoken to him but did see him walking though London. I wished to know why he arrived before you. Are you ill? Is he ill? Did the travels go well? The Matron tries to tell me that I am imagining things, that Ruthven was not wandering the streets. Is he still with you brother? Am I just losing my head with worry?
I am no longer having dreams but that does not make my worry for you diminish. Let me know that you are alright! I do not know if you have been receiving my letters, but you have not written me back so I would have to guess not. Are you still in Greece? Have you moved on to somewhere new?
I am worried about you brother. If I can, I will ask Ruthven if you are well. And ask if your travels together. But I have only seen him the one time. What if I am just imagining him? Why not imagine you as well? Perhaps I just miss you.
