Harry: Don't tell me he's been doing this all week
Ned: No this is new
Harry clicks his fingers getting Y/n's attention
Y/n: Huh, sorry what were you saying
Harry: Dude you've been in that book all day what have you been writing in it
Y/n also found out all his senses have been dialled up by eleven seeing and hearing things have been difficult to concentrate, Harry goes to grab his book but y/n pulls it back quickly and looking embarrassed
Harry: Ohh I know, I bet it's love notes to Kate
As terrible timing could be Kate comes over with her lunch with a smirk
Kate: What's for Kate
The boys look up at her unsure what to say and not wanting to embarrass y/n even more
Harry: Oh, y/n was....
Ned: Thinking about the times the three of you had when you were little
Kate just laughs and looks at the three of them unsure how to ask her question
Kate: Can I.... Sit with you guys??
Y/n: Of course, don't see why you would need to ask
Kate sits next to Harry and looks at the three of them feeling a little embarrassed
Kate: Well I imagine since we haven't hanged out that much in the last few years you might have felt different about me now
Harry: Oh definitely not y/n
Y/n looks at Harry with a look that could kill then looked back at Kate who was just digging into her pasta dish
Y/n: What Harry means is that we would ever feel different about you because your are friend
Ned: Yeah even if you've known these two a lot longer than I have
Kate: It's no competition Ned, I'm happy to have you as a friend too
Ned: Thanks
Ned looked happy to be included in their little circle as the group continues talking about Kate's next big tournament
Y/n: Oh sweet that's going to be here in New York
Kate: Yeah, would you guys be interested in coming
Y/n, Harry &Ned: Hell yeah, definitely
Kate's smile just grew a lot bigger with their answer
