The Weekend came fast and now Y/n and his uncle prepare for what is going to be a busy day as students across New York joined the festival in Queens, Ned and Harry came to help with the prep and make sure there was plenty of fire safety.
As Y/n was dealing with some stuff underneath the table someone was looking at his reactor and had a familiar voice was talking to him
Kate: Wow, that's definitely something
Whack!! Y/n smacked the back of his head on the table realising that it was Kate he quickly recovered and stood up rubbing his head
Y/n: Hey!!! Kate.... What you doing here
Kate looks at him unsure what to say but says it anyway
Kate: I've... Actually come to see the festival and since Ben told me you were here I thought I'd come and say hi and stuff
Y/n was a little star struck, Kate was never big on the science stuff but always enjoyed it with Y/n
Y/n: Well... I'm glad you came, there's all sorts of cool things that people have made, you know are Dennis from science, he made a realistic volcano with practical effects
Kate just stands there smiling as y/n goes on about all the projects that have entered the festival, but she was more interested in what y/n had made
Kate: What did you make, it seems very high tech
Y/n: Oh this, this is a mini arc reactor like what Tony Stark has in his tower, but I made a few improvements of my own
Kate smiles and lets out a little laugh

Kate: You always surprise me with all the stuff you make, but you're still that excited little boy I've always known, but not so little anymore
Y/n laughs with her knowing she hasn't changed much, just became even more beautiful as time has gone
Y/n: This probably sounds stupid but..... May thinks that maybe..... We should hang out sometime.... Like the good old days
Kate's smile grows even bigger
Kate: I would like that, very much
Y/n's heart starts to beat even faster feeling the excitement of hanging out with Kate is amazing, but that soon is spoiled as the festival starts to get underway
Kate: I'm going to look around and find my mother, but I'll come back and help if that's okay??
Y/n: Yes!!!! I mean yeah absolutely
Kate waves him goodbye and disappears into the crowd Harry comes up behind him and pat's him on the shoulder
