Chapter 3

(3.5 weeks later)
~Hayes' pov~
Kaylie and I have become close since we have every class together. She just told me what happened to her parents and she is sitting here crying into my chest. "I miss them so much Hayes. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love living with the Magcon boys. It's been the highlight of my life so far. But I don't have a mom, or any siblings. Dad is so over protective that he won't even let me have a boyfriend." I look at her and just stare into her eyes. "Do you like anyone here?" She blushes and looks down. "Yes. But I don't think he likes me back." She says slowly. "Haha let me rephrase my question. Who do you like that goes here?" She looks really embarrassed. "I-I I like you Hayes." I smile and look at her. After a while, I put my finger under her chin and gently lift her head so she's looking at me. I smile and lean in to kiss her. She was shocked at first but soon started kissing back. I break the kiss a little while later. "Does that answer your question? I really do like you Kaylie." I look at her and slightly smile. "Would you like to be my girlfriend?" I stutter. Wow smooth Hayes. You stutter when you asked her to be your girlfriend. You're a dumbass. Kaylie smiles at me. "Of course I'll be your girlfriend! But I have to go home now. My dad just texted me saying dinners almost done..... Would you like to eat with us Hayes? My dad loves you." "Sure. You have to ask first." I say. She laughs "I already did. He just said to ask your mom." I yell down the stairs to ask mom. "Yes honey! You can go!" I smile "leggo." Kaylie grabs my arm "grab your swimming trunks. We're gonna swim after dinner." I smile "alright" I grab my trunks and we grab our shoes and head out the door.

~Kaylie's pov~
Me and Hayes are on the way to my house. I'm so happy he asked me to be his girlfriend. He intertwined our fingers and I laid my head on his shoulder while we walked. We made it to my house about 10 minutes later and I walked in and yelled "we're home!" That's weird. They're always home when they tell me to come back. "Babe I'm thirsty." Hayes says the same time I get smacked with whipped cream. I hear a girl scream "SMACK CAM!!" wait. I know that voice. I turn around and see my best friend/cousin. "Adeline! I've missed you so much!" I say making sure I rub the whipped cream onto her face and hair. She laughs. "I've missed my little cousin too. And who is this hottie?" She asks, tracing her fingers up Hayes' muscles. "Not yours" I say a little harshly. She smirks "awww did wittle Kaylie finally get a boyfriend?" I nod and intertwine our fingers while he snakes his arm around my waist. He then kisses the top of my head and whispers "I love you babygirl." I smile "love you more" he shakes his head. "Love you the most." I lean in and kiss him. As soon as we break the kiss, the whole Magcon is standing there just staring. "Hello? Didn't your parents teach you that it's not nice to stare?" Cam laughs. "Just be glad your dad wasn't here to see that." "See what?" Dad says walking in the door with food. Nash yells "Kaylie kissed Hayes!" Then he took off out of the room. "I'm gonna kill you Grier!" I scream, taking off after him. Hayes grabs my arm. "Clam down babe. It'll be fine." When Hayes said babe, dad dropped the food bag. Everyone was quiet and looking at us. I decide to break the silence. "So... What's for dinner dad?" Hayes and Dad both chuckle. "It was KFC before I dropped it. Now it's gonna be taco bell. And we are eating there. If you're hungry, get in the limo. That's an order. Nash don't get near Kaylie if you don't wanna get murdered tonight." Nash smiled. "She's already killed me with that glare." "Ha-ha so funny. You better be glad there aren't any sharp objects near me. If so you'd be dead. Now leggo! We're starving!" I yell. "Oh and I forgot to introduce you two. Adeline, this is Hayes, my boyfriend. Hayes, this is Adeline, my extremely annoying and awesome cousin. She's also a loser." She just smirks. "Whatever Espinosa. I still love you tho!!"
