Movie Night

"What happens next, Bruce?"

Taking a sip from his hot chocolate, Bruce sighed as he looked at her from the corner of his eyes

"You do know this is also my first time watching this right?" he scoffed, annoyed by her statements

And with this, a moment of silence came between them with nothing but the munching noises of Diana eating the popcorn and the ambient sounds of the television up front

But after what seemed like a couple of minutes

"So is that woman to be her mother?"

Closing his eyes, Bruce was losing his patience

"Diana... how am I supposed to know that when this is also my first time watching it?" he turned to her and she was actually very engrossed on the movie. Seeing this somehow brought a smile to his lips, Diana looked liked very silly with the face she was making with her sole attention dedicated to the movie they were watching

But their moment was cut short yet again when a character from the movie showed up. It was supposed to be the villain and she was bullying the main character. Seeing this, of course, infuriated the Amazon watching with her clenching her teeth and gripping the pillow tighter

Somehow, Bruce thought of nothing with this but a mere normal reaction to a movie. But when he heard her making grunting noises and the pillow getting more and more ripped apart, he knew something was off..

"Hera, I hate this woman!"

"Diana... calm down.. it's just a movie. It is not real"

She wasn't listening and it shows, as she then comes closer to the television with her fists clenched. Without hesitance, Bruce stood up immediately knowing what comes ahead

"Calm down now... the television did nothing wrong to you." He tried to ease her down with her voice actually being soft and mellow

"Arghh.. this is belittlement and oppression!" The Amazon frankly grunted in pure anger with her eyes flaming with resentment "To think such a woman is capable of this vile injustice is all against me!"

"Hey Buddy..." Bruce tried to approach her, but it was too late. The moment the character in the movie slapped the main protagonist, Diana literally punched the screen, leaving a dent on the girl's face... eventually destroying the television... and the movie they were watching

Diana panted with her expressions still furious. Not even noticing the severity of her actions, she looked proud of what she did. But upon finally coming to her senses, she turned to Bruce with a defeated expression on his face

Feeding himself with a popcorn, the young man didn't even bother to look at the Amazon in front of him with the goofy expression and just stared blankly at the destroyed TV in front

"I-I might have overreacted, Bruce... my bad.. ehe-hehe.." she stammered before uttering out nervous laugh, making light of a situation that was not funny at all to the person she's talking to

He sighed as he closed his eyes
