Cookies for Bruce

Diana bit her lip while arranging her apron to place. She looked very disheveled with her hair tied back and all messy. She was holding a kitchen knife and a chocolate molder, hoping to cook a special treat with all her efforts

She looked very determined for some reason, but upon noticing the smell from the oven, she was too late to take it out and it has gotten burnt

A frown landed on her face, disappointed of how things have turned out. She already knew to herself that she was in no way capable of cooking nor baking treats like this...

But for a special occasion such as this, the Amazon decided to be courageous and try it out.

In the middle of her train of thought, she didn't notice a certain man sneaking his way to the kitchen, already eyeing the only few cookies that came out right. When she finally noticed him, she was quick to snatch the bowl away

"Great Hera! Where did you come from?" she exclaimed in shock

Carefully inspecting the cookies, Bruce turned to her "You were distracted and not paying attention"

Diana rolled her eyes and simply turned away of annoyance. The man however decided to check out what she was doing

"What are you up to?"

"I am trying my hands for pastry into making those delicious chocolate biscuits for Valerian's Day"

"You mean Cookies... and Valentine's Day?" He corrected

Mixing the ingredients in the bowl, Diana reached out for the ladle "Yes, perhaps I have made a mistake with the wording" carefully, she measured the mixture

"Who are you giving it to?" he looked at her from the corner of his eyes

"If your appetite beseeches you, I am giving you permission to indulge in it"

Bruce scoffed upon hearing this with his gaze upon him getting narrower "You didn't put any food poisoning in this, did you?"

"Such comedy is very worthy of a laugh indeed.." she said sarcastically in a stoic face as she reached out for the bowl just to find it surprisingly empty. Every treat was already eaten by the young man beside her

"W-Why you... Why did you eat everything?!"

"I thought it was for me" he responded

"I was also saving some for myself earlier" Diana bit back

"Dang, I didn't know..." Before Diana could form a frown, Bruce had a great idea "Alright, to make it up to you, I'll make the cookies for you instead"

"Y-You will?" she raised her head and looked up at him

"Of course, I learned way back" Bruce put on an apron and prepared the ingredients

"Perhaps we can do another Movie... or whatever you call it"

Letting out a chuckle, Bruce started beating the eggs

"Sure, Diana. Sounds fun."

"Splendid" A bright cheery smile landed on her face "I shall prepare the rectangle mirror!" Excitingly, Diana rushed to the living room without hesitance. Bruce smiled, seeing how her naivety is still with her and how silly it is at times

"It's a TV, Diana.."
