The buzzing noises of the carnival on every corners of the place, making the evening colorful and fun. From afar were a bunch of kids playing around with each other.
Bruce looked around, quite distracted by the things that really catch the attention of some coming here. This includes the toys, the prizes and even the food
He turned around and notices his company was looking at a certain stall nearby.
"Diana, do you want some?" he asked, making the woman look at him
"No need, my attention was just quite diverted.." she responded without hesitation
"You sure? It's not every day they come in Gotham."
"I am certain, Bruce Wayne." Diana answered with a confident smile
"Well then, let's get going and look for the kids before it gets too late evening"
"You looking for us?" Richie appeared beside them out of nowhere. With him was Donna herself holding what seemed like a cotton candy on her hand
"Yeah, let's wrap this up and head home now. Alfred's probably prepared dinner by now" Bruce uttered as he looks at the kids which just nodded in response.
"Shall we go?" Upon looking to the side, Diana was quite engrossed with the thing her sister was holding. It was like she was very curious and amazed of what it was
"If you want to eat it so bad, we can just get one for you.." Bruce sighed
"Oh... I was just admiring the colors.." the Amazon flashed a grin "And that is quite too childish for my personal gain"
"It's just food.." he whispered "But if you say so.."

The walk back to the manor was rather silent. The carnival wasn't that far anyways so they didn't bother going by vehicles
"Are we there yet??" Richie let out a yawn after uttering the last syllable "I can't wait to crash on my bed tonight"
Bruce just smirked. He was currently carrying a sleeping girl on his back who was dozing on him. Her sister is walking beside him who looked bothered for some reason
When they finally reached the Manor, the boy immediately ran to his room and crashed unto his bed and slept. It was a long day for him.
"Here.." Bruce carefully lifted the sleeping girl on Diana's arms as the Amazon slowly pressed against her
"A thousand thanks... do have a pleasant evening, Bruce" Diana nodded at him and turned the other way
"You sure you wanna sleep without a bit of a snack?"
He grabbed a certain paper bag from his jacket which automatically alerted the Amazon. She then closed her eyes and sniffed the air. And when she turned to him, she was surprised over what he was holding
"Is that..?"
"pretty much, yeah"
He handed her the paper bag which contained a cotton candy from the carnival. Her eyes sparkled seeing this and she blinked twice
Diana was about to take the paper bag, but she hesitated with the last second "I-I..."
"I ate one earlier just so you know.." Bruce gave him a reassuring smile "So you're just as childish as me if you would eat one right now"
Somehow, that eased the Amazon and she smiled back. When the bag was opened, Diana didn't hesitate and took a bite of the pink cloud
Her eyes widened of amazement with the discovery. She's never eaten anything like this before.
Bruce however couldn't help but be entertained of what he's seeing. Them little facial expressions is sure a treat to watch, definitely for a special moment.
When she finally notices Bruce staring at her, she pouted at him "What?"
"There's a cotton candy on your cheek" Bruce pointed at the left side of his cheek "here"
Diana wiped the wrong side.
Bruce sighed and just smiled at her
"Good Night, Diana. Make sure to drink water and brush your teeth after eating"
"I am well aware of that, Bruce Wayne. No need to remind me" she took it as an insult
Bruce just nodded and walked the other way. It was this moment that Diana reflected on her words and realized he was just looking out for her, not to mention she didn't even thank him for his gift to her
"I appreciate it.."
All of a sudden, he halted on his tracks and turned to her. She was looking away looking all red and embarrassed
"What was that?" he asked
"The present... I appreciate it."
Shocked, Bruce couldn't believe it. Diana was never good at thanking anyone – Especially with a "man" like himself.
And so he took it as an achievement.
"You're welcome, Diana.."
