When Tim and I made it to the side of the city where Red Hood often patrolled, Tim convinced me it was better to park the car and swing around to find him. Leaving the car was sad but at the same time I really wanted to try out the new outfit.

Winter was leaving quicker than last year and spring had already pushed itself up next but despite that, there were still chilly days like today. Not that I would know what cold felt like because my new suit was just that great. Tim on the other hand looked uncomfortable.

We left the car hidden inside an alleyway in "patrol mode" (but I have no idea what that means) and started to swing on top of rooftops.

"So why Jason?" Tim asked as he swung past me.

I was mostly vaulting over the rooftops because I've not fully gotten accustomed to he grappling gun. A little wire is going to swing me through the sky without snapping? Yeah, okay.

"Because I level with Jason." I reply.

Tim snorted as he landed beside me. "How? He's so-"

"I hope you were going to say devilishly handsome or incredibly cool." Jason's voice said as he appeared behind Tim.

I smirk through my mask as Tim sighs and turns around. Jason had a splattering of blood across his chest and  towered over Tim. Despite Tim being tall I was still taller than him and Jason just had the will power to be taller than anyone.

"Red," Tim greeted.

"Dissapointment." Jason acknowledged with a nod.

"Nice to see you're doing well." Tim muttered as he eyed the blood on Jason. "I hope that's not innocent blood."

"No, it's guilty blood, don't worry." Jason replied. He turned to me and after a second sucked his teeth. "And kid, I have no idea who you are. Bad guy? Vigilante? Antihero? Some poor schmuck?"

"Hardly." I laugh before pulling off my mask to show my face. I still had an eye mask on but even with it Jason nodded.

"Ahh, Crow!" He exclaimed cheerily before he sounded confused. "I thought you don't patrol."

"I didn't but I do now." I say.

Jason scoffed "I see old Batsy paid you off with a new suit."

"And car!" I exclaim, pulling out my phone to show him a picture.

Jason leaned forward to probably squint at the screen.

"I take it all back." Jason stated before he put his hands on his hips. "I know you're new to this and all but this is my side of the city so you're not really supposed to be here."

Tim scowled "He didn't know that."

Jason looked at Tim "What? I was talking about you. I don't care if Crow is over here or not."

I smile and Tim rolled his eyes.

"We should probably go anyway, I'm supposed to be taking down muggers and stuff."

Jason nodded and turned "Well, you know where I am so call me if you need help." He narrowed his eyes at me and his tone turned more serious. "Seriously, don't wait it out. Just call."

I nod and he nods back before flicking Tim off really quickly with his ring finger and jumping off the roof.

Tim scoffed. "Why is he such a jerk?"

"He's not a jerk, he's a Jason." I snort.

"What's the difference again?" Tim mocked confusion as we walked off. After we had made it back to the car and drove off, Tim started looking for crimes happening near us.
