NEXT MORNING
STEFANS POV:

"Stefan do you have to go today?" Spencer asking me as we lied in my bed. I knew she was referring to school.
"Technically, yes I have to go. But... I can miss my morning classes and go in for the after noon?" I said smiling as she leaned in to kiss me.
I forgot what that felt like; Something exciting and new. With Elena it was comfortable, it was meant to be. But with Spencer it was new, it was exciting, yet it felt like home. I know I have to end things with Elena but that can wait... can't it?
"Stefan do you know where- OH WOW UM
SORRY," Hanna said nervously as she opened my door and saw Spencer and I. She then quickly turned around and ran down stairs. I began to laugh as spencer slowly standing up, smiling as she went to catch Hanna.
"Han, it's literally not what it looks like," said spencer as she was standing right outside my door.
"Well it looked like you and Stefan spent the night together. What about TOBY?! and ELENA? WOWWWW" Hanna said very surprised.
"First off, we didn't do anything besides kiss, second of all I broke up with Toby, third of all, I don't know about Elena..." Spencer said as she was pondering thoughts.
"Oh... sorry I accused you of the worst Spence. Anyways, landing Stefan? he's hot as fuck congrats." I could here them giggle and happily skip downstairs.
I got up and showered before heading downstairs with her.
SPENCERS POV:
I poured 5 cups of coffee for Aria, Emily, Hanna, Ezra and I as they were all sitting in the living room/ Salvatore bar.
"Here guys, so what is everyone doing today?" I asked as I realized my coffee was too hot, so I stood up to grab some ice cubes from the freezer.
"Well I have work so I've got to go in around 15 minutes." Ezra noted while looking down at his watch.
"Damon's going to take me, Aria, and Hanna on a tour around town. You can come with if you'd like?" Emily said while curled into a ball on the couch.
I simply nodded as my throat was soothed by the perfectly warm coffee.
" That would be fun. Stefan isn't going to school for the morning, so I'm going to stay here with him until
he decides to go to school. Catch up with you guys later? " I asked as they all nodded there heads. Hanna then proceeded to give me a mischievous wink and smirk.
I winked back at her as I sat down next to Emily.
"Hello ladies," Damon said as he saw all of us cuddled onto a couch, "Oh. And Ezra, Hi Ezra." Damon said as he sarcastically waved.
"Yeah, well that's my cue, I'll see you later Aria." Ezra said while kissing Aria on the forehead. As Ezra walked by Damon, Ezra glared at him. huh. What's up Ezra's sleeve?
" So. Spence... I heard you and my brother last night." Damon said as he poured himself a glass of bourbon.
"WHAT?" Aria and Emily stared at me in awe, I couldn't tell if they were mad, jealous, or pleased.
"Okay nothing happened. okay that's a lie we kissed... a lot but that's it." I said looking at them
as Hanna was laughing.
"Han why are you laughing?" Aria asked while lowering her eyebrows.
"I... well.. I kinda walked in on them this morning," Hanna said hesitantly, yet you could see the pride on her face because she loved the idea of Stefan and I.

STEFANS POV:
I began to walk down the stairs until I had a moment of inspiration to run and tell Elena that I can't be with her. It's a sad thing to be inspired about, but it needs to be done.
I can't do this too her. I love Elena, but I'm at the point that I feel like one day, I'll be in love with Spencer more. I have to get to school to tell Elena.
"Hey guys, I've actually got to go." I said while looking down at my watch 7:55 AM... Class starts 8:30 I could make it to school in time to talk to Elena and be on time to first hour, right?
"Oh to school? Can I drive you?" Spencer asked smiling at me.
"Well, I've actually got to talk to Elena, so I'll just drive myself." I said while grabbing my car keys out of my back pocket.
"It's fine, I'll drive you." Spencer said, standing up and snatching the car keys playfully from my fingertips.
I grinned and walked along right next to her, our fingers intertwined with each other and my eyes locked on her plush lips.
we didn't leave right away, we spent 5 minutes in the car accidentally distracted with kissing, oops.
the car ride was 10 minutes and Spencer got me there in time to talk to Elena and make it to first hour.
as I began to walk away from the car and near the school, I was interrupted by Spencer.
"Stefan wait, " She said as she climbed out of the car.
"Yes?" I asked puzzled on why she needed to
talk to me.
She proceeded to grab my face and kiss me passionately. It felt as if the kiss lasted forever. I was so lost I forgot where I was. kissing her was like discovering a lost treasure. It was fulfilling and peaceful.
"You forgot your book bag." She said with a mischievous grin as she walked away with more of a pep in her step.
I looked around only to find Elena staring at me. Did she see Spencer and I?
I began to walk towards her only to find the more I walked towards her, the more she backed away. After a few steps of her backing away she ended up
against the school, not able to back up anymore.
"Elena what's going on-" I was interrupted by her broken voice.
"Stefan. Don't. I saw. I saw you and Spencer. I thought you were different. I beloved in you Stefan, I believed in us. I should have known the minute I saw her hanging off of you the first day she came that something wasn't right. I never thought you would hurt me. I thought womanizing was Damon's thing. goodbye Stefan." Elena bumped into my shoulder as she walked away, she felt cold, she was hurt and I caused her pain. She was holding back tears, yet... so was I.
