STEFANS POV:

-ALARM-
"What? What I'm up." I said to myself.
I lied there in bed, 30 minutes before school. Why am I here? Why did I deserve this life? What made me think I deserved Elena? Oh, elena. She broke up with me because she was scared of what I am capable of. Even though I would never hurt her.
Nothing gets better then Elena. Her lips, soft and kissable, her chocolate long brown hair, her voice that soothes you. I love her. I am in love with her, and that will never change. I don't want it to change.
I got up and headed downstairs.
"Hey brother." Damon said, already drinking his fixture of alcohol.
"Hello, Damon." I said while pouring myself a cup of coffee. "Hey Damon, maybe you should try coffee in the morning, and not whisky?" I said handing him a cup of coffee.
"Yeah whatever brother." He said gulping the last of his drink, and started drinking the coffee. "Anyways," he continued, "aren't you gonna be late for playing a human HighSchooler?" He said with an evil mischievous smirk.
"Yeah Damon I am. I'm leaving now. Bye Brother." I said rolling my eyes and grabbing my leather jacket.
"Goodbye Stefan," He said while plopping down on the couch.
I shut the door and ran off to school.
I went to school to meet Elena. Well, now I know her. Why do I keep going? I guess it just makes me feel more alive. Even though, I'm around all these people and I want to rip there heads off, but, I've got it under control... I think.
"Hey Stefan!" Caroline ran up too me giving me a huge bear hug.
"Hey Care," I said smiling down at her.
"Oh, I wanted to let you know, that I know that Alaric has been helping you control your thirst, but tomorrow he is leaving for a while. He asked me too watch over you." Caroline said in confidence.
"What? Where is he going?Okay. Who's gonna replace him in history class?" I said, hoping maybe that would make him stay.
"He's going on a road trip with Elena's aunt Jenna. There is a guy coming in from rosewood that will be taking over his class. His name is Ezra Fitz." Caroline said with a smirk. "Let's hope he's hot! I heard he's pretty young!" She said laughing.
"Haha. Rosewood? We are having 5 people stay with my brother and I at the Boarding house from rosewood. Maybe it's him." I said with one eyebrow raised.
"Yeah, it probably is!" She said smiling at me, as she put her arm on my back and we started walking.
"Hey Stefan. Can we talk? Alone." Elena said with a dirty stare at Caroline, she looked down too see Caroline had her arm around me.
"Yeah sure Elena," I said while walking away from Caroline. "What's up? What's going on?" I said.
Once we got far enough away from Caroline, she started to talk.
"I don't want to be blunt about this, but I kinda have too... Caroline has feelings for you. Like real feelings." Elena said, while staring a hole through Caroline's head.
"Caroline Forbes? Feelings for me? Wow I guess it's my time to swoop in and ask her out!" I said jokingly.
"Oh shut up!" She said laughing while playfully hitting me with her book bag. "Why would you care if she had feelings for me?" I said suspiciously. Is elena jealous? Of Caroline?
"Well... I mean.. Because I know we are being honest with eachother, and Caroline is my best friend and I don't want her to get her Heartbroken because you have feelings for someone else." She said while hesitating.
"Thanks Elena." I said while hugging her, I smiled, and casually walked away.

-LUNCH TIME AT MYSTIC FALLS-
ELENAS POV:
Lunch with the crew. Bonnie, Matt, and Tyler.
Stefan and Caroline are off having lunch somewhere else today.
Ugh. Stefan, I love him, I'm in love with him. That will never change. I'm just scared to be with him. I'm scared of what he could do. I don't want anyone around me getting hurt because I decided to date a vampire. I guess Caroline and him would be good together. They are both vampires. No, Caroline cannot swoop in. Stefan is mine, if we are together or not.

" Is it true that 4 hot chicks and a young teacher are gonna stay at the boarding house with Stefan?"Tyler asked, trying to piss me off.
"Yes it is Tyler," I answered responsibly.
"How does that make you feel Elena? Salvatore sleeping with hot chicks?" Tyler asked referring to Stefan.
"Stefan can do whatever he wants. We aren't a couple anymore." I said, stabbing my fork into the table. That image of Stefan with someone else made me.... Jealous.
