Hisako's relationship with Neji did start to improve. She began sparring with him every day once he was done with his training. It was a great way for her to get back into the habit of training after taking over a month off after her village was destroyed. School was pretty easy. She learned to ignore the girls, Sakura and Ino to be precise and mostly hung around Sasuke and Hinata. A few times she tried to approach Naruto, but he dismissed her pretty quickly and so she stopped trying.

It was another normal day at school. After every day, Hinata and Hisako would meet with Neji and they would all walk back to the Hyuga Estate together. On this day, while walking home a member of the ANBU with a mask decorated with red paint met them in the streets of Konoha.

"Lady Hisako, Lord Hokage wishes an audience with you urgently, will you come with me?"

The three of them stopped, and Hisako had a look of surprise on her face. Lord Hokage hasn't summoned her in months. She knew they were sending teams of Shinobi to the Glacier Village to uncover whatever they could about the village, her people, and why it was destroyed. Did that mean they found something that she needed to know?

"Did Lord Hokage say as to why?" Neji asked, the ANBU shook his head no.

"It might have something to do with the Glacier Village," Hisako whispered, and just under the surface, there was slight fear in her voice.

"Hisako, would you like me to pick you up at the Hokage's Office after I drop Lady Hinata off at the estate?" Neji asked, a concerned look on his face.

Hisako shook her head no, "it's okay, I can walk back by myself,"

She split off from Hinata and Neji and followed the ANBU to the Hokage's Office. Once there, she was met with a taller man with silver hair. He wore a mask over his mouth and nose, and his headband was tilted so it covered one of his eyes. He was standing against the wall casually as he held a small book in his hand. Lord Hokage was sitting at his desk.

"Come in, child, we have important news," Lord Hokage greeted, motioning Hisako inside.

Hisako walked inside as the ANBU who escorted her here closed the door behind her.

"Is this about the Glacier Village?" Hisako asked quietly, looking between Lord Hokage and the new Shinobi standing before her.

"Yes, but first, this is Kakashi Hatake. He was the one who discovered this information so I believe it's important for him to be here as well," Lord Hokage said, motioning to the Shinobi.

Hisako bowed to the silver-haired Shinobi, and he gave her a nod of his head, "it's good to meet you, Lady Hisako, I'm sorry about the destruction of your village,"

Hisako ignored the last part so that she wouldn't let her emotions cloud her when she had to hear what they had found, "What did you find?" she asked instead, turning to where the Hokage was unfolding a very ancient looking scroll that smelled of old library and dust.

"First, I need you both to swear an oath of secrecy," Lord Hokage told them, "whatever is said in this room, needs to stay in this room. What we are about to discuss is very delicate information not just about the Glacier Village, but about every village. Is that understood?"

Hisako nodded, "I swear, I won't tell anyone," she said quietly, feeling a sense of trepidation and fear wash through her.

An old part of her said she didn't want to hear what he had to say. Whatever new information they had found, it didn't sound like it was something she wanted to hear. Information that important sounded dangerous, and in this case, maybe ignorance was bliss. She couldn't understand why he would want to tell her something so fragile, so important that she would have to swear an oath to secrecy.
