The irritatingly loud sound of the cries from the girl. Tears fell from her eyes like the continuous downpour from beyond the window that had drowned out her screams.
Her hands were harshly pressing against her legs as she began shaking, sobbing and still screaming. The floor looked cold.
Why was she on the floor?
I leaned down, looking at her, yet she had her eyes tightly closed. Tears continued.
"What's wrong, my dear?" My voice echoed around the room.
She made an attempt to get away from me. Desperately crawling away on the floor, her eyes wide this time, staring back into mine. I could see myself in her eyes. And her tears.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screamed before being satisfied with her distance but continued to sob.
Thunder hit, illuminating the room and i could see a thick trail leading from me to her. My shaky hand touched the floor.
Blood.
Then i remembered.
I hurt her.
I couldn't have just left her hands covered in Ajax's scent, could I?
