The machine landed on somewhere called "Atlev", it was covered in hard earth and adorned with rocks, it was above Axia, where the minions took over the freedom fighter's base.

The remaining fighters looked upon the destruction of their base, now replaced by a strange orb with rings hovering around them.

" I can't believe we've lost our leader." Quaz wrapped his hand around his face, Veb approached him and comforted him, "Hey, maybe the guys from the surface are with her!" Veb pats his back. "Are you sure? You know they are more interested in the surface dwellers than our leader,  Jentorra, and the others are probably trapped somewhere away from them." Quaz sighed, "Also please stop thinking about holes-"

Xolum stared at the strange circle base, balling his fists with rage. Y/n walked towards Xolum, "Are you ok?" Y/n stares at him with concern. Xolum turned his head furiously, "OF COURSE I AM, OUR BASE GOT FUCKING DESTROYED!" Xolum screamed. Y/n flinched and backed away. Xolum stopped and tried to calm himself down, "....Sorry.", Xolum turned away and faced the remaining fighters.

"Attention to all remaining fighters! We have sadly lost our leader, Jentorra, but in her honor, we will train and rescue her. I will be leading you and making sure you are all safe. We can't give up, because it's for the freedom fighters and the fallen. Who's with me?" Xolum shouted, all of the fighters look around nervously, but in the end, they all agreed.

"Ok!"

"Alright!"

"Let's do this!"

"Yeah!"

"Uh, sure"

"Fine."

Xolum marched towards the machine, "Before we decide what we should do, we need to rest for the night, so be prepared." Xolum went in the machine, the others tagged along, including Y/n.

Y/n's POV

I walked towards the machine, following the others. I still felt guilty for not noticing his angry state, if  I was in a clan of fighters that I was loyal to, I would be incredibly pissed of, and Xolum looked like he's been in the freedom fighters for a really long time.

I peaked out of the crowd to catch a glimpse of Xolum, he had his head down, muttering some words, now I feel even more guilty, I'll should apologize to him soon.

The doors behind me closed, Xolum ordered everybody to rest up or prepare for tomorrow. There was many boxes in the machine, which had emergency supplies and sleeping bags. Everybody scurried around, bumping each other and swirling their hands around. Once everybody took a box, they took out the sleeping bags from the boxes and set them on the floor. I guess I'll have to sleep on the floor.

Before I settled down on the floor, an amethyst man approached me, it was the same guy I saved. They grabbed my hand and dragged me towards Xolum, "Hey uh, the surface dweller doesn't have a place to rest in." the amethyst man informed Xolum. Xolum looked around and looked back at me, he was silent for a while, then, "...They can take mine...I don't need it." Xolum dropped the box on my hands and walked away.

Wow did that actually happen? Well that was nice...definitely wasn't expecting that, well I shouldn't complain, so me and the amethyst man, who I found out his name was Ameth, and put our sleeping bags and the ground

Ameth quickly fell asleep, but me in the other hand, my eyes where wide open, I just can't stop thinking about Xolum, which sounds crazy and creepy, but I'm even more interested. What was his intentions? Why is he treating me like this? Why do I feel warm when he looks at me?

I got up and looked outside, there was Xolum, staring at the stars, lost in thought. I got up from my sleeping bag and silently walked towards him. He didn't notice me, thankfully.

I took one more step, *CRACK*, oh god I snapped a branch, "WHO'S THERE?!" Xolum jumped. "Oh, s-sorry, I didn't mean to-" "It's ok."

Xolum continued staring at the sky, which was dark now. "You should go rest." Xolum bitterly said, a wave of guilt washed over me, "Oh about that, I'm sorry for saying that before, I should've known you were in a bad mood." I apologized, Xolum looked at me, then at the ground.

"No, I'm sorry for overreacting, you were just asking me how I felt." Xolum said with his head faced at the ground.

I feel terrible now, maybe I should comfort him? I don't know how to comfort people, especially people from a different realm, and a warrior, but seeing him in such a state made me feel sympathetic for him, I guess I'll try?
