John carried Jenny inside and closed the doors behind him with his foot and walked up the ramp and walked down the hall to his and Jenny's room and walked in and set her on the bed. Then John walked out of his and Jenny's room and walked down the hall to the console room and walked in and sat down at the console and thought about things. A short while later, Jenny walked out of their room and walked down the hall to the console room and walked in and said hoarsely: "Let's get out of here." John looked up and said concernedly: "Jenny, are you okay?" Jenny said hoarsely: "I just slapped Commander Sato across the face quite hard and yelled at him. I went Bad Wolf/ Oncoming Storm on him." John stood and walked around the console and walked over to Jenny and pulled her into his arms and held her close to him. Jenny wrapped her arms around his middle and buried her head in his chest and snuggled. After a while they pulled away and Jenny walked over to the console and sat down at the console and flipped several switches and pushed the lever forward and they dematerialized. John walked into the galley and fixed Jenny a cup of honey vanilla chamomile tea and put three spoonfuls of sugar in and stirred it and walked into the console room and handed Jenny the cup. Jenny took the cup and said hoarsely: "thanks." Jenny took a sip and said: "tastes good." John said: "I thought it might help with your throat." Jenny took another sip and said: "it does. My throat feels better now." John said: "that's good. I'm glad." Jenny drank the cup of honey vanilla chamomile tea and stood and walked into the galley and set the cup in the sink and walked into the console room and sat down at the console and set course for Naboo and made the jump to hyperspace and put her TARDIS on autopilot and leaned back and grabbed the lightsaber that Kanan had given her. John walked over and sat down and said: "is that what I think it is?" Jenny said: "it's a lightsaber. Kanan gave it to me as a gift for helping him and Ezra get back on track. It was his friend's who died during order 66. She handed her lightsaber to him and told him to give it to someone worthy of it. Kanan believes that person is me. I suppose I'd better learn how to use it." Jenny stood and walked around the console and found the on/off button and pushed it. Then a pink blade sprang out of the hilt. John said: "Jenny, the blade is the same color as your sonic screwdriver beam." Jenny said: "for some reason, I thought the hilt would be heavier. But it feels light. Almost like a part of me." John said softly: "because it chose you as its new wielder." Jenny looked at him and said: "what do you mean?" John said: "I don't really understand the concept myself but supposedly, when a Jedi hands their lightsaber to another and tells them to give it to someone worthy of it, and the other Jedi gives it to another person, that lightsaber will gravitate towards its new wielder. Like I said: I don't really understand the concept myself." Jenny deactivated her lightsaber and clipped it to her belt and said: "I'm going to go to the library and look for books on lightsaber forms." John said: "I'll be here in the console room." Jenny walked out of the console room and walked down the hall to the library and walked in and closed the door behind her and looked around. Jenny looked for a specific topic. She found what she was looking for and walked over and scanned the titles until she found the book she was looking for. She grabbed the book and sat down by the fireplace and opened the book and started reading. A few pages in, the wall comm beeped. Jenny sighed and marked her place and stood and walked over to the wall comm and answered the wall comm and said: "hello Dad. What do you need?" John said: "can you come to the console room? It's easier if I explain it in person." Jenny groaned and said: "what did you do this time?" John said: "I didn't do anything." Jenny sighed and said: "okay, I'm on my way." Then Jenny hung up and walked over to the door and opened the door and walked out and closed the door behind her and walked down the hall into the console room and said drily: "okay, what happened?" John said: "come see for yourself." Jenny sighed and walked over to where John was and saw the problem right away and said: "Dad, I'm 99.9% certain that you had something to do with this. I'm going to ask you again: what did you do this time? And tell me the truth." John swallowed hard and told her. When he was done, Jenny said: "you're fortunate that the problem isn't major. Next time, just call me before you go toying with parts you don't know the function of." John looked away and said quietly: "duly noted." Jenny's face softened and she set her book down and turned him to face her and said gently: "Dad, I'm not mad at you. A little exasperated, sure. But not mad. Besides I can easily fix it with my sonic screwdriver. Believe me, if I was mad at you, you'd know it." John looked at her and said: "I'm sorry." Jenny said gently: "don't be. It's easily fixable. Here. Let me show you. And don't give me the kicked puppy dog look. I've seen that look far too many times for my liking." John looked for all the world like a kicked puppy dog. Jenny grabbed her sonic screwdriver and flipped it open and aimed at the problem and fired. John left the console room and walked down the hall to his and Jenny's room and walked in and closed the door behind him and walked over and sat down on the bed. Jenny fixed the problem and flipped her sonic screwdriver shut and turned around and said: "see? Easily fixable." No answer. Jenny sighed and muttered under her breath in Gallifreyan. She said: "honestly. He's acting like a child right now." Just then the console beeped. Jenny flipped a switch and said: "hello?" The eleventh Doctor said: "Jenny, I know you're probably busy right now, but I need your help." Jenny was about to respond when she felt a sharp pain in her head and gripped the console for support and said: "can you excuse me for a second? I think my Father just did something incredibly foolish. He and I have a very strong bond." The eleventh Doctor said: "of course. Go ahead." Then Jenny stumbled around the console and down the hall to her room and opened the door and walked in and closed the door behind her and said: "what are you doing?" John said quietly: "I can't do anything right. So why bother staying?" He raised the knife. Jenny grabbed her lightsaber and ignited it and sliced the knife in half and destroyed it. Then she deactivated her lightsaber and clipped it to her belt and said gently: "okay, that is where you're bloody wrong. You're a Time Lord and most importantly my Father. And I love you. There's plenty of things you do right. You just can't see that because you're blinded by self-hatred." John looked at her. Jenny said: "come on. The eleventh Doctor just called. I have him on hold at the moment. I asked him to hold on. He agreed to. He was quite understanding." John said quietly: "you still want me around?" Jenny sighed and walked over to John and pulled a chair over and sat down and said gently: "Dad, I'm going to let you see my memories. Hopefully it'll knock some bloody sense into you." Then Jenny placed her hands on either side of his head and let him see her memories. Some of them were painful for her but she didn't pull away. She forced herself to go on. Finally John said: "stop." Jenny pulled away and looked at him. John pulled her into his arms. She buried her head in his chest and broke down and cried. John pulled her up onto his lap and held her close to him and gently stroked her hair and laid his head on top of hers and placed one hand on her back and the other hand on the back of her head and held her close to him. He gently rubbed her back. Jenny sobbed into his chest. John let her. He said gently: "we should probably head to the console room. Don't want to keep the eleventh Doctor waiting too long." Jenny shook her head. John shrugged and said: "if you insist on clinging to me like this, I guess I'll just have to carry you." Jenny said: "not moving. You'll just have to carry me." John scooped her up and stood and walked over to the door and opened the door and walked out of their room and walked down the hall into the console room and sat down at the console and said: "sorry for keeping you waiting there, Doctor." The eleventh Doctor said: "quite alright. Family is important. Jenny, I need your help. It's Clara." Jenny simply continued clinging to John. John looked down at her and then looked up at the screen and said: "sorry Doctor, Jenny's currently clinging to me like her lives depend on it. She just showed me her memories and she's kinda shaken up. Some of the memories were painful for her. We'll be right over. Send us the coordinates. I'm 100% certain that I'll have to do the piloting. My daughter is currently clinging to me like her lives depend on it which I don't mind at all. After all, that's what Fathers are for, right?" The eleventh Doctor said: "right. You should be receiving the coordinates any minute now." Then the eleventh Doctor hung up. Jenny said: "Daddy, I can't let go right now. Some of those memories were really painful for me." John said gently: "I know they were, baby girl. I know. Come here." Jenny cuddled up into his arms. John grabbed his trenchcoat and draped it over Jenny like a blanket. Jenny continued clinging to John. John knew now that his daughter was hurting worse than he'd thought. She'd lost her Mother, Daughter, and husband all in the same week. Then the coordinates came through and John locked onto the coordinates and pushed the lever forward and materialized at the coordinates. John said gently: "Jenny, we're here. The eleventh Doctor needs our help. This is what we do. We save people when we can. We help people who need help. Jenny, I promise you right now that I'm with you 100% of the way. We're a team." Jenny nodded and dried her eyes and pulled away from him and stood and made sure she had everything she needed. Then Jenny opened the doors. Then John and Jenny walked down the ramp and walked out of the TARDIS. The eleventh Doctor ran to meet them. Jenny said: "what's wrong?" The eleventh Doctor said: "you'd best see for yourself." Jenny walked up the steps and tried the front door. She looked at John and the eleventh Doctor who had followed her. She said: "locked. Gentlemen, stand back. It's time to put my lightsaber to use." John looked at the eleventh Doctor and said: "we should probably do what she says. She hasn't had time to practice with her lightsaber yet. I don't particularly feel like being directly in back of her when she ignites her lightsaber. Let's circle around back and try to find a back door." The eleventh Doctor said: "good idea. Let's go." Then John and the eleventh Doctor ran around back. Then Jenny grabbed her lightsaber and ignited it and sliced a hole in the front door and kicked it in and reached in and unlocked the front door and opened the door and deactivated her lightsaber but still held it in her hand. She walked in and found Clara on the floor. Jenny knelt down and checked for a pulse. Nothing. Clara was cold to the touch. At that moment, John and the eleventh Doctor came in through the back door. John said: "Jenny!" Jenny stood and said: "by the front door!" John and the eleventh Doctor ran through the house to Jenny's location. Jenny said: "I found Clara. You two, stay with her. I know exactly what to do." Then Jenny raced up the stairs into one of the rooms and found an open computer. Jenny clipped her lightsaber to her belt and walked over to the computer and sat down and hit a few keys and stopped the transfer. Jenny smirked and said: "checkmate." Then Jenny raced down the stairs. The eleventh Doctor was helping Clara sit up. Jenny grabbed her sonic screwdriver and flipped it open and fired her sonic screwdriver at the robot on her way by. The robot short circuited. John reached for Jenny. Jenny walked over to John and walked into his arms. John wrapped an arm around her and held her. Clara was slightly disoriented. She looked around. Clara said: "what happened?" Jenny said: "the Doctor called us and asked us to help. He wasn't very specific. He just said it had to do with you. Oh, by the way, I more or less might have used my lightsaber on the front door. I sliced a hole in the front door and reached in and unlocked the front door. Sorry." Clara said: "it's okay. Force knows, I'm used to unique entrance methods. The Doctor does it all the time. Although, I am curious. I thought only Jedi and Sith wielded lightsabers. And I don't think you're a Jedi." Jenny said: "I'm not. Dad and I were living on Lothal for a while. While there, I helped a Jedi Master and Padawan get back on track. The Jedi Master gave me his friend's lightsaber as a gift." John said: "she hasn't had time to practice with her lightsaber yet." The eleventh Doctor helped Clara stand up. Jenny noticed the rings and said: "you two are married, aren't you?" The eleventh Doctor said: "how did you know?" Jenny said calmly: "the wedding rings were a dead giveaway. Also the Doctor's voice over the transmission. I recognize that tone all too well. It's the same tone I would use every day when my late husband went off to help the locals on Lothal. He's dead now. Excuse me." Then Jenny broke away from John and ran out the back door and ran to the TARDIS. She ran inside and ran up the ramp and down the hall into her and John's room and closed the door behind her and sank down against the door and broke down and cried. She looked up at the photo of her and Thomas on her side of the bed. She stood and walked over to the bed and grabbed the photo and looked at it and chucked it at the wall and watched it shatter into a million pieces. Then Jenny sank down against the door. Meanwhile, the eleventh Doctor, John, and Clara had ran after Jenny. Clara was more steady on her feet now.
