Pretty Smiles

She's in despair, beyond repair,

The scars she hides,

Are unable to detect in her pretty smiles.

"Smile, don't let them know what you hide..."

She knows what it is to cry herself to sleep,

And waking up the next day like she never ever weeped.

"A new day, a new beginning... "

She knows what it's being lonely,

Coz she never had anyone by her side,

As they regarded her to be dull and homely.

" Loneliness became her best friend... "

She knows what it's being bullied,

Easily cullied,

By the people she believed,

Who called themselves her friends.

"Friends in disguise..."

She knows what it's been called names,

Fat, ugly, old fashioned, lousy, a cry baby and many more,

A tame girl trying her best to fit in this world,

"No one cares if you are pretty or dead... "

Now she keeps her guards up,

Don't want anyone to interrupt,

The way she lives or the way she is,

" Been good for too long, now it's time to be heartless... "

Yet she smiles,

Even though she feels rile,

From the inside,

But who cares?

No one knows she's in despair,

Beyond repair,

Coz the scars she hides,

Are unable to detect in her pretty smiles.

Hello guys, it's been a long time :) Anyway I hope this poem is good, I feel that there are very sad people on Watt pad specially girls, I don't mean to offend but please be happy, everyone has struggles, life is a one time opportunity, make it memorable, before the time sweeps away. (don't harm yourself, you are beautiful the way you are)
