A Different Feeling

This is a Underground!Levi x Underground!Reader one shot.

Reader's POV:
I was panting as I ran with my (h/l) (h/c) hair trailing behind me.

"WHERE DID THE LITTLE WENCH GO? FIND HER!", Yelled the angry shopkeeper as he held his cheek.

I think I really crossed the line this time because I sort of slapped him in the face before I left.

'But it was worth it', I thought.

I smirked as I held the rolls of bread close to my chest.

This wasn't the first time I stole from that man.

He made it too easy.

I turned the corner and saw a bunch of the shopkeeper's friends.

"THERE SHE IS!", yelled a plump man that sort of resembled a walrus.

I skidded to a stop and quickly turned away from them.

I had a little bit of a lead because I reacted quicker than them.

A few feet into the downtown district, I almost lost them.

Key word: Almost.

I slowed down for just one moment and then heard a hoard of laughter just behind the corner.

"You thought you could trick us again with your usual escapades (l/n)?", they taunted.

I pulled a small knife from the back of my boot as I tightly held onto the bread.

"I had my hopes.", I said dauntingly.

I lunged forward to attack, but was stabbed on the shoulder by one of the men.

I fell to the ground in pain and tried to crawl away from them.

Right before they laid another hand on me, someone jumped in front of me.

It was a man wearing a brown tan vest with a white dress shirt underneath.

His back faced me and I saw him pull out a knife similar to mine from his back pocket.

"If your going to lay one hand on this girl, your going to have to go through me.", he said in a low voice.

They all chuckled darkly and the plump one said,"So (l/n) you got yourself a boyfriend to protect you huh?"

I turned red and was about to say that I didn't know him when the mysterious man said,"Yes I am her boyfriend and if you pigs are smart enough you will leave her alone."

They obviously weren't smart enough because they lunged forward again,but this time they were aiming for him.

"Tch, idiots.", he said as he sidestepped the first attacker that came at him.

The man turned around and tried to thrust the knife into his side.

But was sidestepped again and stabbed in the back by him.

Another person tried to have a go at him, but my protector threw his knife and it hit another mans arm.

The 3 other men stood there in shock while the other 2 were groaning in pain.

He pulled the knife out of the fallen man's arm and pointed at the group with the knife which was dripping blood saying,"Anyone else?"

The men almost tripped over themselves while they ran away.

I tried to crawl away from this dangerous person, but he grabbed my ankle.

"Please let go of me! I'll give you my food just please don't hurt me!", I whimpered as he pulled me up to face him.
