Reader's POV:

BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!

I groaned at the sound of my alarm clock.

Rolling around in the (f/c) sheets on my bed, I opened my eyes.

I rubbed them and yawned loudly.

My alarm clock was still screaming at me while I was still lying down on my bed.

I looked over at the time to see that it was now 5:20 in the morning.

Why did I set up my alarm this early again?, I thought groggily.

I sat up to turn off my clock.

For some reason I had a feeling I had something important to do today.

What am I doing today?, I kept thinking over and over.

I looked around the room for some sort of sign.

Hanging off the doorframe of my walk in closet was a (f/c) striped pencil skirt, and a (f/c) blouse.

I scrambled out of bed and looked down near my alarm clock to see a business portfolio.

ACKERMAN INDUSTRIES, it said in bold writing.

"CRAP! That's today!!", I shrieked as I hastily got ready.

I can't believe I forgot. Today was my first official day working as a secretary for Mr. Ackerman.

I ran into my small kitchen and quickly chowed down my (f/b).

I hopped up and down on one foot as I tried to get one of my (f/c) high heels on.

"Dang it! I'm gonna be late!", I kept yelling.

After I zipped up the back of my pencil skirt and buttoned up my (f/c) blouse, I hopped into my (f/c) (f/k/c).

I quickly pulled my hair up into a messy bun.

A few (h/c) strands fell into my face, but I didn't mind.

After I made sure I had everything, I slammed my foot down on the gas pedal.

"Why do I have to be there by 6:00 each morning!", I thought as I zoomed by a McDonalds

It took me about 25 minutes to get to the building.

I checked my watch to see that it was 5:59.

"Just in time.", I said as I walked into the lobby.

The lobby was huge!

The white tiled floor clacked against heels as I made my way to the elevator.

A man with honey colored eyes and beige hair was currently texting away on his pager.

He was also in the way of the elevator's buttons.

"Um, excuse me?", I tapped his shoulder.

He looked up and his eyes widened slightly.

"U-Uh yes beauti- I mean ma'am?", He stuttered.

Was he about to say beautiful?, I thought.

I shook the thought off and cleared my throat.

"Could you please press the button to the 46th floor?", I asked.

"Yeah sure.", he said as he pressed the button.
