𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺?

𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝟷.

I woke up, still crawling onto my blanket not wanting to wake up I pushed the alarm clock down from the nightstand as it was beeping into my ears. "Fuck..." I whispered and just turned my back on it, adjusting myself better under the blanket.

"Nini- are you ready? You're gonna be late, again!" My mother yelled from downstairs.

"I don't wanna go.." I murmured.
"Uh-huh, You aren't gonna stay in home this time, you're going, whether you like it or not." She said in a serious tone.

"But.." I was going to say back to her but she yelled to me again. "No buts, I'll give you 5 minutes." She said.

Ugh. How am I supposed to get myself out of this bed, yet to even go to school, I sighed and pushed the blanket away, getting up.

I dressed up, took my bag and lifted the clock back on it's place as I walked out of my room.

"Good." My mother smiled. I couldn't even smile back at her, my eyes were almost shutting close as I walked to get coffee.

"Drink it while walking, you have no time. Soobin already left to school." She said while reading the newspaper from today. "Fine."

I grabbed the coffee with me in a thermos mug and started walking to school.

"Nini wait!" My bestfriends Naomi and Bahiyyih yelled as they ran to catch me up. "Why do you look so.. " Naomi started. "Dead? Because I'm dead inside, I have no motivation today. Can I just drop ou--" I was saying but she hit my arm. "No. You will come with us and we will get you through this." Naomi smiled. She has always been the one in our friend group who actually likes to go to this place I describe as hell.

"I was so sure you're going to skip school today." Bahiyyih laughed while I rolled my eyes at her. She just giggled and moved her beautiful light pink hair behind her ear.

Bad habits, I guess.

"I know I do that a lot but it's math exam today and if I don't pass I'm gonna stay here forever, which I really don't want to do." I whined and Naomi looked at me desperately, sighing.

"Need help?"

"Taehyun already promised to help me to study before math class." I said as we walked down the hallway. Students were slowly getting more calm as the class was about to start as we walked to ours. I glanced around the classroom that was almost emptied of the student's stuff which used to be put up on the walls on the first day we came here, and through the years. It was almost summer break.

"Girls, here!" My brother Soobin said as he pointed to the empty seats infront of him and our other friends Kai and Beomgyu.

Soobin, my brother, was the one outside of our friend group who was really smart. He always kept a lot to himself and I sometimes find myself wondering if he even liked all of us? I wouldn't even be surprised if he didn't, because all of us are literally just human trash after all.

And what comes to Kai? He's my other best friend besides the girls. We met through Bahiyyih in elementary school because Kai is her older brother. They live next door from my home. And... the thing is, I've always liked him. Kai is everything I ever wished for in a guy. He's tall, handsome, he always cares for me and he is super funny. Like typically in these situations, I haven't told him because I don't wanna lose what we have, and that's what usually happens when there's romance involved.

We sat down on the empty seats and I gave Kai a small smile and he smiled back at me. "Nin, we have math exams today, are you okay? Need any help?" Kai questioned me while picking up his math book.

"But didn't you hate math?" Naomi laughed and I giggled at Kai being so worried about me.

"Yeah well I do, but if a friend needs help, can't I help?" He hissed at Naomi's words and Bahiyyih just mocked him. " Yeah blah blah blah.."
