We go to John B's. Big John is there.

The guys hug him. They pull away to look at me.

"Oh my god." He mutters.
"Hi." I say trying to think of what you're supposed to say to your dad you never knew was your dad.

"You've grown to look just like her." He says. I smile softly. "Come here, kid." I hug him.

"I wanted to tell you. To meet you. But Chloe didn't want me to. Didn't want Henry knowing." He says. I nod understanding.
"Do you know where she could've gone?" I ask. He shakes his head.
"Wish I knew."

"Where'd you even go?" Pope asks John B.
"Yeah, so we went to the archives in Charleston, and, uh it was a dead end."
"So that's the gold, the cross, and now El Dorado. We're three for three guys." Pope says leaving.
"See ya John B." Kie says.

"Im gonna go. Thanks for the beer." JJ says.
"It's nice to finally meet you." I say looking at Big John.

JJ and I walk away.
"His story isn't adding up." I say.
"He wouldn't lie to us." He says. I nod.

"Imma go fish. Wanna come with?" He asks.
"No, not this time." I say. He nods.

I keep walking until I get home.

I'm just relaxing trying to think. Could John B be lying?

JJ runs in.
"You're not gonna believe this." He says.
"What happened?"
"I was down at Guffys, all right. I was trying to get my job back. And I see my catty across the way and on it is Rafe and Barry. I sneak over trying to hear what they're talking about. He has the cross. And he melted it down."
"We have to tell Pope." I say sighing.
"Yeah."

We get out and drive to Heywards.

"Pope!" I yell getting out.
"Is this not a good time?" JJ asks since Pope looks upset.
"Pope quit school." Cleo says.
"Being a coroners kinda weird anyway."
"Shut up, wrench dick." Pope says.
"JJ, tell him." I say.

JJ tells him.

"I'm so sorry." I say.
"Fuck!" He yells. "Of course it was Rafe."
"Yeah I mean we could've guessed that."
"The cross of Sanyo Domingo, desecrated! For money!"
"I know." JJ whispers.
"We need to make a plan."
"But we gotta stay calm." JJ says.

Pope hits the ground.

"This is messed up man. Even for them."
"I know."
"And they're just gonna keep getting away with it. Gonna keep doing that shit. Gonna keep winning."
"I mean, is that news to you?"
"No. I'm sick of being the good guy." He says walking off.
"Pope, where you going?" Cleo yells.

"Do you three mind helping?" Mrs. Heyward asks.
"Not at all." I say.

Cleo and I start setting up while JJ cleans off the tables.

"I appreciate the help."
"You know, I ain't missing Mrs. Heywards cooking."
"Unlike my derelict son. He's usually here by now."
"I'm sure he'll be back any second." I say.

"Any of y'all moved the pistol from in there?" Mr. Heyward asks walking out. "The one I keep under the register?"
"No?" I say confused.
"JJ?"
"Woah, okay. I didn't touch it."
"Yeah, well, somebody did." He says.
"Wasn't me."
"You see? Dang it! I gotta find it." He says walking back in.
"I'm sure it's somewhere." Mrs. Heyward follows.

"It's him." Cleo says.
"Yeah, he's going after Rafe." JJ says.
"We know how that's gone for him every other time." I say.

"I'll take the marina." Cleo says.
"We'll check Tannyhill." JJ says. We run.

We do and they're not there.

JJ and I are at his house on the couch outside.

A car pulls up. It's the Twinkie.
