PROLOGUE
Ebony Moretti was the childhood best friend of Arthur Leclerc.
She was an Italian so the Monégasque Formula Three driver naturally bonded with her due to he, himself being fluent in her language.
When she inevitably moved to Monaco, she found herself regretting telling him where she lived, because he would either turn up out of nowhere with ice-cream and movies to watch, or...
He would turn up drunk with his friends.
Like Juan Manuel Correa.
Juan found it funny when he and some of his friends stumbled drunkenly in to the apartment of somebody who Arthur said was 'the best' and found a woman watching romantic comedies on her sofa with a blanket around her.
He had nearly fallen over when she aimed pillows at the group of them.
He soon found himself joining the woman for her movies nights and found that she would happily travel to join and support him at his races.
Throughout his whole recovery period, he had never felt like he would make it. But Ebony was the reason that he believed in himself once again.
He believed that he was in love with her.
