"Flippy...C-Can I tell you something?". Asked Flaky who seemed nervous and a little flustered at first as she played her spiky hair for a bit with her finger.

"Hm? Oh-uh sure thing! What is it?". Asked Flippy being now curious. "W-Well..I-I-...I know you and me had known each other since you came in this town and all. Hehe...". She paused.

"Well of course! I'm always going to be your friend Flaky". He said smiling at her. Flaky's reaction to his response was a bit disappointed but nonetheless, not thinking too much about it. "Right. and um-...I know you haven't made a good impression towards me or to anyone else you've met 3 years ago. But..

That didn't change anything towards me when I met you. I understood you quite well when no one else couldn't. You would always bring a smile to my face whenever you come visit me

Or when we hang out doing fun stuff, you and me haha....". Flaky paused for moment to see Flippy's reaction which was confusion.

"Flaky...what are you trying to say to me? ..your kinda worrying me a little Heh". He nervously chuckled being a bit uncomfortable of the situation.

"I-I'm s-sorry I just-...". Flaky sighs in No hoping to hide around the bush and to tell him how she feels for Flippy. "What I'm trying to say is...Flippy. I...I like you, not as a friend type of way. I like you more than that.

I like you as a love partner to me. The way you act around me. It makes me feel safe and warm inside. Knowing your dark past and your...other side. I don't feel scared nor afraid around you.

I'm not scared of your other side either. I like you for you. Your personality, your kindness, caring and loveable bear that I know. I love you Flippy, I always have been...d...do you feel the s-same way?...". She said looking at him while blushing hard.

Flippy froze in shock. Not knowing what to say but stare at Flaky. "F-..Flippy? Are you okay?". She asked. Flippy shook his head quickly and looked down at the table, averting his eyes off of Flaky.

"Flippy? C..Can you say something? Please? I-I'm worried here". She said in a shaky voice. "..Flaky, I'm flattered for you to say that about me. Truly I do, but..I don't feel nothing for you. Not like that at all, I see you as a little sister to me.

Hell, I treat you as a family in blood towards me, since I don't really have much of my family left out in the city anymore. Only my mother and uncle to be exact.

And I know what I'm saying to you is not exactly what you are expecting me to say or react. But...I hope this will not change our friendship that we have from each other. I would hate to lose that from you, I hope you understand my words here". He said waiting for Flaky's reaction or response from her.

Flaky pretends to be alright with Flippy's response by hiding it with a small smile. Trying to not let her eyes water in front of him. Even though she understood his rejection towards her, it still hurted her to the core nonetheless.

Either way, she knew what could've happened if he didn't felt the same way. She was prepared for it. And tried to truly accept that. "N-No, I understand Flippy. I really do. I'm glad that you were honest with me about how you feel. And truly...I don't hate you for that.

I'll gladly still be friends with you and to hang out if you want. You know where to find me whenever you need me. I like that you'd think of me as part of your family.

That, makes me so much happier to hear that from you." She said kindly. Flippy looked at her and he felt relieved to hear that as if some weight had been taken off of his shoulders.

"Thanks Flaky, I'm happy you understand my feelings". He said smiling happy. "Y..Yeah, of course". She said trying to be natural as possible. "Hey, if you don't mind. Can you give me a ride back home?". She asked.
