Chapter 13: beautiful family

Leah's P.O.V.

I could see Eggs and some other people enter the restaurant. That must be his family. I walked up to them, putting on a smile.

"Hi, you must be-"

"Oh my- you really are a pretty one! Zachary told us all about you!" A tall blonde lady said.

"Margret," said the man next to her, these are probably his parents.

"Momma," Eggs said before turning back to me. "*whispers* sorry.. ok! So where's he at? It's foxy right?"

"Downstairs in parts and service, be careful though, he's pretty pissed about it. *Eggs nodded and walked off in that direction* ok! Are you guys hungry? Here, take this table over up near the front, you can see the animatronics way better there," I said to the giant group.

I walked them over to the tables, pushing them together so they were one. Eggs' dad offered to help, but I could do it by myself.

"So independent!" I heard the mom whisper to him. She sounds super excited.

They all sat down and looked over the options for pizza and other treats. I took their orders and brought them to the kitchens. I came back to the table just to apologize for asking Eggs to come in and interfering with their time together.

"Oh we don't mind," another woman, with black hair and brown eyes, said. "The kids love these little places with the funny robots, right girls?"

The three little girls started giggling as they drew on the placemats.

"Aha, yeah, well thanks for letting us steal him real quick."

Eggs Benedict's P.O.V.

"*sigh* well, Foxy, this isn't gonna work anymore, I'll let Leah know that you need a new one," I said, putting the voice box in the box with other old parts.

Foxy just slouched with annoyance, crossing his arms.

"I know.. first the shocks now your voice box.. I'm sorry."

His face softened and he sat up straight. I walked over to the spare office to put the parts away, I could hear foxy walk out of the room.

I walked back towards the elevator, it opened when I got there. Leah walked out.

"Oh- I was just comin to check on ya, how's Foxy?" she asked.

"He's upset, the voice box is completely useless now. We'll have to get a new one."

"Oh shit, where is he?"

"I'm not sure, he ran off when I had my back turned."

"*sigh* ok, I'll go find him, why don't you head back to them?" she suggested.

"I- totally forgot they were here. *leah laughs* They didn't give you too much trouble did they?"

"No.. they're really nice. Your mom is funny, she gave me the card for her bakery.. I wish my mom was like her."

"Ah, well I better make sure they're not getting into trouble! Thanks Miss Leah!"

We went to walk away, but we went the same direction and bumped into each other. We both laughed and went the opposite direction.

"Oh, uh, and Eggs?" she called as I turned around.

"Yeah?"

"Um.... You-.. you have a beautiful family."

"Oh, thank you," I said with a smile.

That's nice of her to say. Wonder why she said it..
