Chapter 9: Meeting Ennard

Eggs Benedict's P.O.V.

I walked towards the elevator. I think this job is going to be pretty fun! Everyone seems so friendly, so maybe things will turn out better from here.

I got closer to the elevator, suddenly feeling a slight bit of unease. I scanned the barcode and waited for the elevator.

"You're the new technician? Right?" I heard a voice coming from the darkness.

I looked to my right, seeing a VERY tall animatronic with a creepy clown mask.

This guy is super tall.

"Uh, yeah I'm the technician, why?"

"Just wondering, since Baby didn't let me see you yesterday... What's your thoughts on her?" he asked, nodding in the opposite direction.

"Miss Leah? Yeah, she's cool, you know, uh, real nice, pretty-"

"Pretty what- exactly?"

"J-just pretty, I guess, I like-"

"You like her? Don't you think that's just a little too soon? I mean- with the new job in all but-"

"Oh no! Just giving a little compliment is all. *the elevator arrives* Well, uh, I- gotta go the-... elevators here."

I smiled politely and walked inside pressing the button to the first floor. He just kept glaring at me until the door closed. I sighed in relief.

That guy is scary lookin... Hopefully it's just a misunderstanding.

I walked into the main room, looking for Baby. I found her in the kitchen, getting ice cream for a kids birthday.

"Heyo! You look stressed, something wrong?" she asked, looking through a drawer.

"Nothing just- ran into that other animatronic you told me about earlier. Thought I would just let you know, heh."

"Oh no, he didn't scare you did he? *sigh* I swear- he always does this-"

"No no! It's ok, I just had a little run in with him. Everything's fine, I promise."

"He really is super sweet when you know him."

"Don't worry, it's ok!" I smiled.

She nodded with a slight smile. I waved goodbye before walking out of the restaurant.

Man, I really hope he's as sweet as she makes him seem.

That guy was really tall.
