Jungkook politely greeted his parents. He is curious about what makes them come to the resort. He thinks about the news, but he is also confident that his parents won't display their anger in public but deal with it in silence.

His parents, Gue-sung and Sejin Jeon, regularly come to the Country Club to meet their wealthy friends and business partners. However, it became rare after he had an affair with Lisa.

Jungkook smiled at his parents. He is waiting for them to return the greetings or say a word.

"Son, I'm glad you are still here." It was Gue-sung who first spoke. He glanced at his wife, who remained silent, and not greeting their son. Sejin only snubs them.

"Yes, dad. We stayed late last night, and I'm not capable of driving us home," he explained to his parents.

However, listening to her son, Sejin could not help but scoff and twitch her mouth. Gue-sung is giving her warning stares.

And because of that, something infuriated her. 'I was the villain once again!'

Jungkook glanced at Lisa apologetically. He also presses her hand and tightens his hold.

"Jungkook, can we talk to you?" Sejin asked her son in a plain voice.

"Mom..."

"It's a quick talk," Sejin assures her son. She flashes a glare at Lisa to scan the girl.

Lisa is wearing a halter dress that doesn't require a brassiere. She only wore a slipper, but she looks elegant and gorgeous. And her naturally wavy Chestnut Brown hair colour beautifully rested on her back.

Sejin withdraws her gaze from Lisa; she looks up at her son, waiting for his response.

Sejin doesn't want her to be present in that talk. It is obvious to Lisa, and she won't make it complicated and unpleasant for all of them when the lobby is filled with guests watching a drama play.

Lisa slightly pulled Jungkook's hand, and she uttered, "Hey! Give me the car keys, and I will start up the car while you are talking to your parents."

Jungkook didn't move and stood still on his feet. He shifted his gaze between his parents.

"I will visit you guys tomorrow. Lisa and I have to go to the office as soon as possible. I scheduled a meeting today," Jungkook informed his parents. He knew it would annoy his mother. But he doesn't want anyone to humiliate Lisa in public, even if it is his very own mother.

It didn't please Sejin; however, she could not throw a fret in front of everyone. She smiled plainly, and good thing that before she could open her mouth, her husband stole her awkward moment.

"All right, son! See you tomorrow, then! Your mom needs to prepare for the wedding. Her stylist is already waiting in our suite," said Gue-sung. He is patting his wife's back to walk.

Before they could take five steps, Gue-sung turned around and said in a loud voice, "Please, relay my apologies to the Board."

"I will, dad. Have a great time, mom!"

Sejin turned her head sideways; she nodded at her son before she resumed walking. Great timing, she spotted the Vice President of the P Country. She hurried her steps and greeted her friend.

She had a big smile on her face. So everyone's a little confused about what happened and curious about what they spoke about just now.

They were waiting for a big drama. However, it disappoints them that it didn't happen today. Everyone in Metro City knew Sejin despises Jungkook's girlfriend, as she won't tolerate her son's affair.

And they witness that Sejin only ignores her son's girlfriend. Still, there are no changes. She was still not in favour of the affair.

Meanwhile, Jungkook and Lisa resume walking and head to the parking lot.

She looked up at Jungkook and stared at his handsome face. Honestly, her heart didn't stop fluttering inside her chest.

"Is something dirt on my handsome face?" asked Jungkook.

Lisa dropped her mouth open. Jungkook's reaction to her stares shocks her. Ever since the kiss this morning, Jungkook is becoming overly shameless in front of her!

Jungkook turned his head and lowered his gaze, winking at her. With this, Lisa burst out laughing.

It didn't come to her mind that Jungkook would be this shameless around her. Well, Jungkook is incredible that time they talked on the stairs and have coffee!

But after that encounter, Jungkook was serious, and the following day she met him again. He is formally treating her. And she has no complaints because Jungkook was also polite to her.

And when they lived together, she got to know him better. Now, he is showing his cool side.

"Um... Thank you, by the way, for standing up for me," she told Jungkook. The truth is, she thought that Jungkook would give in to his mother. But he didn't. Instead, he shows his parents that he is choosing her.

"Why, thank you? You can kiss me to show your gratitude," said Jungkook. He leaned over and brought his face closer to Lisa.

Dumbfounded, Lisa dropped her jaw to the ground. 'He has done it again! He is too shameless now!'

But she decides to play along if it's still about the agreement they signed. At the moment, she wanted to forget anything else but listen to her heart's desire.

Lisa lifted her chin. Although she is tall, she needs to tiptoe to reach Jungkook's forehead. She planted a kiss and then walked ahead of Jungkook.

"Wait! That's not a kiss!" Jungkook complains, following behind Lisa.

"That was a kiss!" she replied without turning around to face Jungkook. Well, she's hiding her playful smile; that is why she doesn't want to look at him.

"That's a grandma kiss! And you are not my grandma!"

Lisa could not hold it anymore. She burst out laughing, and it hurts her stomach. Jungkook is acting cutely now, and it amuses her. She likes this kind of side of him.

Later, Jungkook catches her up. And instantly, his arms fetched her waist, and she landed on his broad chest. He smelled nice. Lisa mused between her dazing head.

She had no chance to speak up or raise a protest when Jungkook claimed her lips and kissed her once again.

Lisa sighs inwardly. She opened her mouth and responded to the kiss.
