Chapter: 72

Headed back to his office, Jungkook sighed with relief. Finally, all of his meetings today are over, and he could take Lisa home.

He pushed the door open and entered his office. Looking around, he found Lisa lying down on the long sofa, closed eyes and a headphone in her ears.

It seemed that Lisa fell asleep waiting for him.

Jungkook slowly sat down on the sofa. He extends his arm and caresses Lisa's beautiful face.

It tempted him to kiss Lisa, but he doesn't want to wake her up yet.

Jungkook got up from the sofa, went to his desk, and sat on his swivel chair. He picked up a folder and began reviewing the text written in the document.

After an hour, he heard Lisa moans. Later, she gets up and sits on the cushion.

Across from his office, Jungkook greeted Lisa. "Hi!"

He got up from his chair and headed to the sofa. Lisa rubs her eyes, and he thinks it was cute. She looked up at him and smiled.

"Hey... How long have I been sleeping?" she asked afterwards.

Glancing at his wristwatch, Jungkook replied to Lisa. "I finished all of my meetings an hour ago, and you were already asleep when I came back."

"Oh. I see. I have been sleeping for over an hour."

"I'm glad you can rest in my office."

"Yeah!" And I felt comfortable sleeping in your office when your scent is lingering around. Lisa thought. It surprised her how relaxing it was.

She leaned on Jungkook and rested her head on his shoulder. And she was right; Jungkook's scent feels like home. It made her fear that she might get used to it from now on.

Jungkook, on the other hand, his arms immediately wrapped around Lisa's body. He adjusted his sitting position so that both of them were comfortable on the sofa.

Lisa remained to feel lethargic after the nap. And cuddled inside Jungkook's arms is her favourite to do now.

"So, it's getting dark outside?" she asked Jungkook lazily.

"Yeah. And if you still wanted to take a nap, go ahead." Jungkook encouraged Lisa. But the truth is, he just wanted to stay in this position for a longer time.

Lisa didn't know that same as her; this was Jungkook's favourite thing to do from now on.

And he is praying that no annoying employees of his, particularly his assistant, would knock on his office door and interrupt their lovey-dovey time.

"I will be fully awake soon," Lisa said after a long moment. No one wanted to break the silence. But it will be dinner soon. And so, she asked Jungkook, "How about your work? I'm sorry if I bothered with your work."

"Not at all! They are my work for Monday. But I was hoping you could keep on napping, so I take a look at them." He lied. The truth is, it needed his attention as soon as possible.

He will go to Australia next week, and those documents required his approval. However, he won't miss these chances to spend as much time with Lisa.

"Okay. Then, we can go home soon so that I can prepare our dinner."

"Why don't we order some food and deliver it to the penthouse later when we arrive home?"

She ponders what Jungkook is suggesting. It's a good idea since she feels lazy, and it won't be bad to slack off once in a while.

"Okay. I will slack off today," Lisa told Jungkook. Instantly, he chuckled at her statement.

"No problem! You were doing a great job yesterday, and I wanted you to know I was proud of you."
