Dear Diary,
Some unexpected and heart-wrenching incidents make you realize that life is really very unpredictable. We say this very often but realize the importance of these words only when an unexpected calamity befalls us. Something happened recently and it made me realize that we as human beings are just so vulnerable. An attack, stroke or an accident can literally take away our lives. This realization made me question my own acts. If we are so fragile and vulnerable, then why do we hold unnecessary pride and ego in ourselves? Why do we differentiate among people when ultimately all of us belong to the same species? We often say this that "Tomorrow never comes" but we never actually believe it. Yesterday's incident was extremely heartbreaking, but it has changed a part of my soul for the better. Let's be a little more considerate and gentler towards people, let's respect one another, let's love each other a little more, let's stop holding grudges against one another, let's try to stay happy and make others around us happy. These will just add to our good deeds and ultimately it is what matters. I pray to the Almighty to show us the right path because ultimately, we shall return to him. ❤
