Two days has passed since I went the the executer's office and here I am all packed up ready to go.
I haven't seen the house yet and I'm extremely curious to see what it looks like, it's out of the town I'm used to by now so I'm still unsure if I'll even fit it that side but why would I actually complain?
I get to move out of this small apartment,I move into a mansion like house and as a reward I get 6 Million? Yeah I have no reason to complain.
Giving the apartment one last look I took my suitcases full of the few things I own such as ny clothes, a few books, make-up and my straightener... I really don't own that much but with the view things I have I've done wonders.
I had let my roommate know that I'll be moving out and she was pretty fine with it she even said she wanted her boyfriend to move in anyways... Guess she won't miss me.
Well I won't miss her too. Kidding maybe I will she is a nice person and a great roommate too, plus her and her boyfriend are super cute together they sometimes make me feel a bit jealous but I get over it...
It's not that I actually need love because I don't it's just sometimes it seems fun I guess, but I got my friends and Colton, Colton is my cat.
He's ginger. Loves running away from me then returning after a day or sometimes two, everyone seems to abandon poor me... I'm staring to sound a bit depressed I should stop complaining about everything...
Locking the door I walk down the hallway with my two suitcases and my umbrella in my hands stopping at the owner's office to return the keys after knocking I hear a faint 'come in' as I enter.
"Hey... I just wanted to return these seeing I'm moving out..." I said and he gave me a bored look "Waht about rent?" He asks the newspaper in his hands and I scoff.
Really? Well I'm sure he thinks that I won't even pay him but seeing I'm finally heading up in life I took some of my savings to pay my part of the rent, reaching into my purse I hand him the thin brown paper with the money in "It's all in there." I say and he seems a bit surprised taking it from my hands glaring at me "It's just money John..." I say unbelievably rolling my eyes he checks inside a smile on his lips "Thank you.." I nod putting the keys on his table turning around opening the door to leave when I heard his voice stopping me "Travel safely Aria." I turn my head giving him a smile walking out of the office on my way to the elevator.
I'm so glad I won't be seeing him again. Sometimes he creeped me out. And he is such a control freak and one could swear he eats money. He literally can't go without it.
Neither can I but oh my soul he just has it bad.
After leaving the building I'm now seated in a cab heading towards this house, I'm actually excited about it... Plus it's near my friends so... That just remind me that once I'm there I'll have to find a job too...
My phone starts ringing and I see it's and unknown number as I answer "Hello?" I say scratching my upper leg, these jeans is a bit too tight I can't even scratch!
"Mrs Standford my name is Earl I just want to let you know that once you reach the house if you haven't already arrived,the gate opens automatically just say your name at the little grey box and it will open" A guy's voice says and I nod "Thanks." I say and hang up.
What type of gate is this? Say my name and it will open up? Damn.
We come at a halt Infront of a huge black gate.

And I start feeling uncomfortable looking at the driver "Why did we stop?" I ask and he turns his head to face me a frown between his brows "This is where you said I should take you Miss..." He says and I gulp slowly turning my head to the big scary black gates "Are you sure?" I ask and he nodded "I have places to be Miss, please pay so I can leave..." He says and I hand him the money stepping out as he drives off.
