"Yeonjun hyung, you've been so silent--" Beomgyu hasn't finished his sentence yet. Then, Yeonjun grabbed his hoodie and his phone. The older stormed out of the room with a loud thud.

Beomgyu looks down at his cold fingers as he bites his lower lip. He shrugged his thoughts off and continued on his classwork.

Beomgyu isn't really the type who says sorry. In fact he's sassy, and his pride won't get along every circumstances may occur. Beomgyu is the type who snobs, competes, doesn't even give a fuck, neither doesn't want that someone might be greater than him. He's competitive, quite boastful but an academic achiever.

Beomgyu furiously slammed his highlighters. Distracted. He couldn't focus on his homework. He took a deep breath and heard a loud churn.

"Can my day get any worse!?!!" He shouted to himself. "I can't fucking cook! I can't even focus on my work!" He slammed his pen at his desk.

He fished his phone and ordered. He groaned in frustration and checked his wallet-- already on its lowest. He decided to cook some instant food anyways and already swiped out the food application and proceeded to his social media account. He checked his instagram and randomly swiped some people making stories and post it on their days.

He then saw Yeonjun's. He immediately tapped the follow button. It took seconds to received a followback. Beomgyu frowned.

'This motherfucker left me alone in our house and managed to follow me back after he left me!?! Does he have any conscience!?!!!!'

Beomgyu already frying Yeonjun in his mind furiously. Then Beomgyu heard a door bell as he placed his phone right on his pocket and prepared himself and wears his slippers before going down stairs to open the door.

There's no one is the house, Yeonjun definitely left. One of his shoes is missing on the shoe shelf.

Beomgyu took of his glasses and twisted the door knob and to his surprise it was a delivery rider. Although, a handsome delivery rider smiled at him and shyly handed a plastic of food.

"Food Delivery for Choi Beomgyu?"

"Huh? but i haven't order any food--"

"Ah it's already been paid anyways sir." The delivery rider smiled at him as he handed the food to Beomgyu.

Beomgyu looked at the delivery rider with a smile formed in his lips. "is that so? let me grab my wallet and tip you at least."

"Ah no no! the person who ordered the food already tipped me. It's alright sir." The delivery rider smiled at him with his bubbly expression. "It's my last delivery anyways."

Then with good timing, a heavy rain suddenly dropped with an instant as he pulled the delivery rider close to his door.

"Sorry about that! I'm just preventing you from soaking." Beomgyu shyly bowed and scratched his nape.

"It's raining heavily though. It'll take time for the rain to stop. Why don't you come in and join me eating this food?" Beomgyu smiled at the rider who was flustered and shyly declined.

Beomgyu being the persistent human, "I'm alone in this house and the food is quite a lot for only one person, right?." Beomgyu smiled.

"Oh no need sir--"

"Come on, i insist." Beomgyu responded immediately and the rider couldn't refuse since he's been delivering food for quite a long time.

"Hope you don't mind sir--"

"Beomgyu."

"Alright--, Beomgyu."

They both exchanged laughters as the rider came inside and ate with Beomgyu right at their dining hall. They talked a lot. Same school, same year level.

"You haven't introduce your name to me." Beomgyu asked while eating his red velvet cake and a pair of red velvet of milktea as well.

"Ay! I'm so sorry! I'm Hwang Hyunjin."

"Oh you're a hwang! i have a friend that you're very similar with. Actually you look like her!" Beomgyu continuously eating his food and nods.

"It's a 'her'? Is that so?" Hyunjin eats his food peacefully and looks at Beomgyu eating his food as well. "I'm an only child by the way."

"We're actually just the same." They both laughed.

Because actually, being an only child totally sucks. They could feel the loneliness, some pressure since both of them are golden retrievers. They exchanged numbers afterwards and bid each other's goodbyes.

"It was nice meeting you, Beomgyu. So see you tomorrow at the cafeteria then?" Hyunjin winked and Beomgyu laughed, smacking Hyunjin playfully.

"Yeah right." Beomgyu rolled his eyes and closed the door. He heavily breathes and screams silent like a teenage girl.

"Gosh!! I-I.. I can't!!" Beomgyu was blushing a mess. Luckily, they go to the same school and same year. "I got his number." Beomgyu bites his lower lip and blushed as he realizes himself what he just said few seconds ago.

He feels himself turning pale and like his blood running out from his insides and realizes that. "D-Damn.."

"I'm not gay.." Beomgyu shrugged off the feeling and calms down. "just a tiny crush." Beomgyu gaslighted himself and goes back to his room.

Beomgyu then started texting Hyunjin and glad for Beomgyu he had started a smooth conversation. Having a great time and getting to know each other.

They became friends.

Hyunjinie:

So? See you around in the
cafeteria tomorrow gyu?

Would love to.

Within his dry replies, he just smiled at the thought he had created a friend who totally has the same humor and similarities as his.

In the other way round.

Yeonjun was there. Gripping his wallet, watching the whole time looking at the two and this Hyunjin, eating together happily in his food.

Yeonjun didn't saw the delivery rider's face since his back was facing at him. Although, the voice quite seem familiar to him. He knew that voice so well.

'Too impossible. I just moved in here. He's everywhere.'

"ugh, i ordered food for us since we both don'r know how to fucking cook!?." Yeonjun ranted from the living room as he ended up washing the dishes instead.

Yeonjun seem distracted from that familiar voice. So he accidentally dropped the mug and shattered onto the floor. He couldn't focus. He grabbed the broom and when he turned around, The shattered mug turned back to its original form with a word on the mug:

"You're running out of time."
