I Almost Do

One Year Later . . .

     "Good Afternoon, may i help you madam?" The lady asked me as i took a look around

     "Can you show me your finest, Necklaces?" I asked, she smiled and answered "right this way please"

She shows me their latest collection of necklaces, I brushed through them one by one looking for something particular that i had in mind

     "Ah Perfect! I'll take this one" i said as i pointed at the Ruby red butterfly necklace they had on display

     "Wonderful choice Ma'am , I'll just ring it up and be right back" she said as she left to pack up the necklace

It didn't take too long for her to comeback holding a paper bag with a small black box inside "Thank you, Come Again" the lady said as i took the paper bag and headed to the door

     "Good Afternoon sir, may i help you with anything?"

     "Ahh yes, do you think you can . . ." I heard a familiar voice speak from the man who just entered

I turned around to confirm if i had heard correctly and my eyes widened with what i saw

     "Xavier" I whispered into the wind

He hasn't changed a bit, he still wore dark outfits with his hair styled the exact same year as a year a ago

My eyes lit up when I noticed his arm, he was still wearing the watch i gave him so long ago

I watched as he talked and explained what he was looking for but didn't listen to what he was saying

     "Hi uhm.. do you have a pen and some paper that i can write on?" I asked the person at the counter, he gave me a small piece of paper and a pen "thank you" i said

I took the pen and started writing
"Hi, you may not remember who i am.. I'm Sorry for disappearing suddenly, if you still want to see me you can find me at..

As i finished writing the small letter a mother with her child entered the store

     "Hi, can you give this to that guy over there wearing a black suit and black turtleneck?" I asked the little boy to which he nodded

     "Thank you" i said as he went off to give the letter

I stepped out of the store and walked to somewhere out of view but a place I could still see him at so i can be sure if he received the letter

I watched as the little boy approached him with the letter and how he took it and opened it, after a short while he started to look around looking for something. . Or someone

After seeing that I quickly took my leave, Inside the car and even when i got to my destination i still couldn't forget his expression as he started looking around the place in search of Something

     "Well.. let's hope for him to find that very very.. soon." I thought

     "Good afternoon passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for flight 89B to the Philippines.
