Hi, this chapter is to clear the story till now.
Till now, we have seen that Mari finds Felix in an alley and takes him home and later they become best friends. When they are 12, she has to leave London due to her parents insistence for better future in Paris, and in the recent chapters with the time skip of 2 years. ( They are 14 now.) We have seen that how Mari finds friends in Paris whereas Felix's father dies in London and he gets depressed. His father was killed by Gabriel for the property and Gabriel's ring is the only evidence. (Honestly I did this so that Felix gets a reason to come in Paris and also to hunt for the ring cause in the show, he just wants it without any valid reason.)
Now let's wait for Felix's entry in Paris, Hawkmoth's fall and see the story unfold and bring the two lovers together.
