"So, Sarah tell me about yourself?" I decide to ask to get the atmosphere moving.

"Well, i'm 21 and i was just crowned Miss Tennesee, so that has kind of kept me busy since it has a lot of...duties." She says looking at me.

Oh, wow. By the way did she said that title to prove herself somehow or did she just said it... literally? Like children say things.

"Oh, wow. Well, congratulations." I congratulate her. "What duties does it contain?"

"Mostly representing. Last week i hosted the opening of restaurant, and also winners and other finalist get to do some modelling."

"Sounds interesting." I hum. Now looking more closely of her no wonder she won. She seems like someone who would enter for the beauty pageants, example her clothing: she is wearing white shorts and

"Have you being ever in beauty pageants." She asks me.

I raise my eyebrows and almost laugh. "Oh my goodness no. I mean, i don't like being center of attention."

She cracks a smile. "Really. I mean no offense, when i first saw you i thought that you might already be some Miss Paris. Came to a territory a bit." She laughs.

Oh, now i get it. Maybe that's why she was a bit distant first.

"Yeah, you have nothing to worry. I'm not gonna take your crown." I smile.

"You'll better not."

We talk some more and she tells that she took part of it last year but didn't won and she doesn't give up until she get's the title. Well she did.

We finish eating and we start helping Grace to clean up the table. "Thank you so much Grace, the dinner was so good."

"I'm happy that you enjoyed." She smiles amd then takes our plates. "Really girls. You can go, i clean this."

We nod our heads and Sarah tells me we should go to her room to have more privacy.

I like the promising start.

Her room is opposite of the stairs and when she opens the door and let's me in. Walls are light green and she has white mat on the floor and the bed has white covers and green cushions. I love the colors, must be calming.

Her other wall it's what i believe makeup table because the mirror is intacted to the table and in the wall there is different posters of...celebrities: James Dean on the movie A Rebel without cause, and then movie posters of Audrey Hepburn from Fairy lady.

And the last one is above the two posters, which is Elvis Presley and the movie is the Blue Hawaii.

"You have a lot of posters." I say and look at her.

She blushes a bit. "Yeah, i mean those are one of my favourite movies and Elvis is honestly my favourite singer."

I smile and look at the photos. I remember at 18 i had huge crush to the James Dean, i practically had to force mom to buy all of his movies.

"Do you like Elvis?" She asks.

"I... haven't never thought about it." I say and her eyes go double sizes.

"What?"

"I mean, yeah he is good looking and all of that, but i lived in Paris almost my whole life. So basically out of sight, out of mind." I shrug and cross my arms.

"Oh my god, you are such a weirdo." She exclaims. "Well, then. I have to now tell everything about him so that you'll see what awesome, sexy and just...everything he is."

I laugh and shake my head at her silliness. "If it's any consolation, when i was 18, since then i've had a massive thing for James Dean." I wink.

She thinks a bit and looks at me with smile. "Maybe, only half a bit."

We go sit on her bed and talk more about our lives and interests. I tell her about my passion example for ballet and classical music which she finds interesting and at the same time boring.

It's sometimes difficult to open yourself up because your interests and passions differ so much from other people. Like, i'm very into high culture example — paintings, theatre, museums all kinds of what belongs to that area.

Back in home in the last few years i didn't have basically friends. My mom was my friend, and then when you don't have your age of people around you, you start to feel like 40 in 21 years old body.

But like i said, all things has it's good sides tooz maybe it has matured me, being alone.

"What's your favourite movies?" She asks.

"I really love James Dean's East of Eden, he is so handsome in that and his acting in there is incredible. Then i love Gone with the wind. What about yours?" I ask taking more comfortable position.

"I also love East of Eden, and just all of James Dean's movies. It's so sad that he's dead, left too soon." She sighs.

"Yeah." I hum in response. "Isn't incredible how you admire someone and you don't even know them."

"Yeah, it's like they are close to you and your reaction can be so unexplainable that you start crying or worse...faint." She agrees.

I laugh. "Have you ever experienced that?" I ask.

"Well, i always cry when i see Elvis. Like a month ago he had concert in june 9th at the Madison Square Garden, i begged mom and dad to make me go and i went with couple of my friends. We we're pretty close to the stage and... i just lost it." She tells me and i can see how much that day meant to her.

"You make it sound like i should maybe go check on him. What his all about." I say.

"You definetely have to see him. His just so... i don't even know how to describe him. When you're looking at him, it's like it's just him and the whole other audience disappears."

She then start to think and quickly turns her attention back to me. "Hey, he has upcoming concert coming in New York and i'm going." She gets up from and goes to look at her drawers looking for something.

She comes back and has a paper cut from the newspaper and it says ELVIS INVADES NEW YORK! A Mr. Presley Puts it on at Garden
It has a black grey picture of Elvis with a white jumpsuit and the photo has been taking when he sings.

"Oh, wow." I say as i read it.

"Yeah, right. Getting already excited? Well, it's good for us that it is so soon." She smiles.

"Us?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Hey, if you think you can be my friend without having never seen Elvis, then forget it." She smirks at me.

I roll my eyes and look at the photo of the Elvis. I have to admit he looks very alluring, and i'm tempted to go check him out, i don't know but i have a feeling i would regret it if i didn't go.

"I'm in." I say determined.

Tell me, if you have wishes and ideas what do you like seeing happening.

Btw it's not a long journey anymore when Alyona meets Elvis. 😉
