Notes : this is a wee headcanon I have with two OC's, all you need to know is that this takes place roughly some months before the first episode! Next one will be of SB and Samael <3

"Early as always Ollie!" Nano giggled, taking off his helmet and sliding next to his partner, who was currently hidden in a brown cloak as he read under a shady tree on the outskirts of the obsidian cascade. The only area far away enough for the two guards to meet up without suspicion. Ollie looked up, messy blonde hair peeking through to meet Nano.
"And you're five minutes late. What's up with that??" Ollie questioned, closing his book titled 'mythological tales: the divines, the alter, and the war in heaven'. Instinctively, he'd pull Nano into his lap and lean into the crack of his shoulder. Nano followed by tracing shapes on his lover's (constant) sickly pale skin as they leaned into the tree's bark.
Without all that bleak armour that (to ollie at least) looked distasteful and dull, Nano was short. Much shorter. Ollie didn't speak of it, he knew his lover probably thought the same of the paladin's armour. The pair cuddled in a comfortably silence for the alter knows how long. Until..
"Remember that flower boy I told you about?"
"The servant?"
"Yeah!"
"Hm?"
"I think the dark Prince is crushing on him."
Ollie blinked, then sat up. Nano turned around with a grin, the mop of brown hair covering his jet black eyes.
"No way," Ollie shook his head, "The dark Prince? That servant? Only fools would dream of a relationship between the two!" His sharp blue eyes stared Nano down.
"I swear to you, I think there's a spark going on!" Nano protested. "Flowerboy is super sweet and nice and the dark Prince has been calmer recently! I bet there's something up!"
"You bet..?" Ollie raised an eyebrow. Another crazy bet I'll surely win. he thought
"I bet... a bag of gold coins!" Nano thought up. "My bet: the dark Prince is crushing on flower boy servant."
"Okay then;" Ollie stood up and brushed himself off, Nano followed suit.
"I bet my mythology books, that the dark Prince is not crushing on the servant boy."
"Deal!!" Nano beamed, then went to hug Ollie. Ollie wrapped his arms around his waist while his lover's arms snaked around Ollie's neck gently. These moments, Nano thought, is what I live for.
