Caring Christ,
Bless us today with your Love, and prolong its effect for as long as we life! Our hearts require guidance and instruction that only you can provide. As today winds down, as frenetic chaos dwindles to its daily ember, we come to you for further guidance so that tomorrow we can take the right step towards Truth and prosperity. Lend us your hand and guide us, Lord.
And we pray for the lost! For those who wander the wilderness of foreign ideologies and pernicious movements; they are on a journey with no end. They shift with the fickle capricious tides of discontent and false promises. Their heels kick up forgotten dust. Strange leaders mount pulpits and exhort their cruelties.
See our tears welling in our eyes as we look upon them, these aimless souls in dark uncertain plains. Brothers and sisters of the Lord, their footsteps become erased by the covering dust of whipping sandstorm so it is difficult for us to follow them and return them home. Give us courage to persist, enlarge our capacity for love. We want to Love as you do!
How blessed your Word is! We remain so thankful that is so plentiful.
Your Word bellows over chilled mountaintops, across blistering fields, over blistering deserts. It sails across miles and miles of churning ocean. Your guiding hand tethers our empty hearts to your Spirit—and keeps us full with his Grace. Faith relies on your steadfast sanctuary of goodness and truth. Life follows your lead.
Hold our brothers dear, as you hold us. Guiding the Spirit on its mission of goodness.
