Something Wrong

I need a new hairbrush. I looked everywhere for mine, but it was nowhere to be found. I pull my bag off the floor and head out the door. I lock it behind me and put the key into the hiding place. Turning away from the house. I look to see the boys leaving their house. Tommy spots me and waves as I walk over to them

Techno trails behind the group, head down looking at the floor. He seems to be the least talkative out of the five of them. When I and Cam hung out, he spoke highly of his brother and told me about his reputation as 'The Blood God'. Which consisted of him being very violent. He told me that he's calmed down a lot as time has passed, but the name still sticks.

A violent teen, a socially awkward teen with a hatred for Americans, and three teenagers that are known for stealing. Now, I'm no psychologist or anything person known for dealing with mental help and health, but those all seem like textbook trials that kids in the system go through. And considering that they're all adopted, it would make sense that things like that would happen.

"Lost in thought?" Cam's voice broke my train of thought and brought me back down to the real world. Just in time too as we were about to cross the road. I hadn't even noticed he was beside me. Shows how powerful my brain is.

We crossed the road heading over to the stop. "I was until you interrupted." I took my usual spot at the stop and Cam stood beside me. Tommy, Ranboo, and Tubbo all stood talking to each. When Cam went home, they found Ranboo just sitting in the kitchen, eating cereal. He wasn't joking he he said they just show up. Techno stood where he always did, looking dead inside as he always did.

"I enjoyed yesterday," Cam said out of the blue. I twisted my head to look to see that he was still staring ahead. "it was fun." He had a small smile on his face. Now that I looked at him, his beanie was placed haphazardly on his head, hair that looked messy escaping underneath it. Cam looked like he just rolled out of bed. I would've thought out of the group he would have been the best kept out of all of them, but today he looked the worst.

"I enjoyed it too." I said quietly, praying that the bus would show up. It's cold and I'm sick of waiting for a stupid bus. The sky was dark and the clouds were gray. It was probably going to rain today this uniform didn't have a hood with it.

"Do you have any plans for the weekend?" Cam now looked at me, still smiling. Did I have plans? Nope, definitely didn't. Wait. No. I was going out with Quackity and the other two. I guess it's a good time to see the town. I avoided doing so regularly.

"Yeah. I'm going out with the Quackity dude, Sapnap guy, and their friend Karl."

"What?" I was surprised by the tone of his voice. I snapped back to look at him to see his eyes blown wide, he looked angry. What did I say? I don't think I said anything. "Why?"

"Why not?" I shot back at him. I didn't say anything wrong and yet he's upset with me. Or maybe friends are like this?

"Why not? Because they suck." Yep. He's angry. "Karl's okay. He just hangs around the wrong group. Also, a massive teacher's pet because he's family with the principal and most of the teachers. Sapnap, he's the guy, the guy who ran over Niki's pet fox. He refused to apologize for it saying that it wasn't his fault. And Quackity, don't even get me started." Wilbur put his hands on his head as he let out a groan. Had he not already started? These didn't seem like good reasons to not hang out with them. Bare Sapnap but I could live with that. "Quackity's a stupid, insecure, traitorous copycat with a massive ego." Wow, okay. He sounded pretty angry. Like, angry. "I would tell you the whole story, but it's far too long. Are those good enough reasons for you?"

Nope. Not really. He's probably trying to protect me, but I don't care. I choose who I hang around with. He can't choose for me. "I don't know," I said quietly, shrugging my shoulders in response. "They've been nice to me."
