"So what exactly happened?" I asked Natsu

We were sitting on the edge of the bed in the guest room

He tucked in his little sister Wendy who was covered in bruises

"My dad...tried to kill her so we ran away" he said sitting next to me

"Oh I'm so sorry. You can stay here as long as you want" I said grabbing his hand

Holding his hand sent shivers down my spine

"No you don't have t-" I cut him off

"I insist" I said smiling

In all honesty. I like him. He's really nice, he's cute, funny, all the things I look for in a guy

"Thanks Luce" he paused

"Can I call you Luce?" He asked

"Yeah go ahead" I said my smile fading

"Is everything ok" he asked

"Yeah. It's just that name sounds really familiar" I said

"Hey how about I try helping you get your memories back" Natsu smiled

"Sure!" I smiled

"Are you sure you don't want to ride with us?" I asked Lisanna

I was in the passenger seat of Natsu's car

"Nah I'm good I'll just walk" she said grumpily

"O-ok" I stuttered rolling up the window

"Wonder what's wrong with her" I said slumping in my seat

"Me. She's still mad about our break up" Natsu said starting the car

"So...what exactly happened?" I asked looking at him

"I caught her cheating and when I confronted her she denied so I broke up with her" he said turning

"Oh I'm sorry" I said looking down at the floor

"No. Don't be. It's not your fault" he said

"I'm gonna go to my locker" I said to Natsu

He nodded and walked off

While I was at my locker Levy and Erza came up to me

"Hey Lu" Levy greeted

"Hey Lev" I greeted back

"Hey girls" a boy with orange hair greeted leaning on the lockers

"Go away Loki" Erza demanded

"I'm not here for you I'm here for her" Loki said bobbing his head in my direction

"It's ok guys you can go I'll just handle this real quick" I smiled at them

They nodded and walked away

"So Lucy is it?" He asked standing in front of me

He wrapped his arms around my waist

I nodded

"Pretty. Just like you" he said moving his face closer to mine

"Your a little close" I said

"Don't worry a kiss won't hurt you" he said puckering his lips

"Please just get off me!" I shouted

"Come on just let it hap-" suddenly he was pulled off me

I fell to floor since he pulled me as well

"When she says stop you stop" the person said

I looked up to see Natsu holding up Loki by the collar

"I can do whatever I want. She's not your girlfriend" he said

Natsu punched him in his stomach and dropped him onto the floor

"Stay away from Lucy" he said walking towards me

"You ok?" He asked helping me up

I nodded

"T-thanks" I stuttered

Natsu picked up my stuff and handed them to me and we walked to class

NATSU

The bell for lunch rang and everyone left the classroom

Except for Lucy

After what happened this morning she's been pretty shaky

"You ready?" I asked

She nodded

"I'm gonna go sit since I brought lunch" Lucy said

I nodded and walked to the lunch line

LUCY

"Hey guys" I said sitting down

"Hey Lu" Levy greeted

"We heard what happened this morning you ok?" Juvia asked with a worried expression

"I'm fine don't worry Natsu saved me" I said smiling at the last part

"Wait do you like Natsu?" Erza asked

"N-n-no" I stuttered

"Oh my god you do" Levy said in shock

"Please don't tell anyone" I begged

"Don't worry your secrets safe with us" Erza smiled

"Thanks guys"
