"Natsu quite pacing" Wendy complained

"I'm nervous to ask Lucy out" I said nervously

"You'll be fine. She'll say yes no matter what" Wendy smiled

"If you say so" I stopped pacing

"I know so. Now come on" Wendy clapped her hands together

We walked out of our room and walked down the stairs

We walked into the living room where Lucy should be

But instead we saw something we didn't expect

Sitting on one couch was Lucy, Mira, and Lisanna

And on the other a women with light blue hair that was a shade lighter than Wendy's

I looked down at Wendy. A tear streamed down her face

I looked back. Lucy looked directly at me

She nodded her head as if she was answering my question

"M-mom" I whispered

She slowly turned

"Natsu" she smiled

She stood from the couch and walked up to me

She hugged me tightly

I didn't hug her back

"Grandeeney, maybe you should give him some space" Mira thought

"Your right. I'm sorry" mom apologized

Hearing my mothers name shattered my heart

Me and Wendy sat on the third couch

"I can't believe Igneel did this" she said

"He was never like this" she said a tear streamed down her face

"Maybe if you didn't leave this would not have happen" I whispered

"Natsu, I'm sorry" she looked up at me

"IF YOU WERE SORRY HOW COME YOU NEVER CAME BACK FOR US?" I stood up

"That's why I'm here. I'm here to take you to your new home" she smiled

"I'm not leaving" I said

"Why now? Why are you coming to get us now? That's what I don't get" I mumbled

Mom ignored me

"How about you Wendy?" She looked at Wendy

"I'm...s-staying...h-here" Wendy stuttered in between tears

"Fine. If that's how you want to be. Then so be it" mom stood up

She turned to Mira

"Thank you for letting me see my family" she thanked

Mira nodded and smiled

"And Lucy take care of my Natsu...please" mom said forcing a smile

"I will" Lucy smiled and nodded

Mom turned her back to us and walked to the door

Once we heard the door shut Wendy lost it

"Shhh it's ok" I comforted her

"W-why d-did she c-come b-back?" Wendy cried

"I dont know, Wendy. I don't know" I answered

I honestly don't know

"I'm sorry" Lucy apologized

"For what?" I answered

"I dont know. I just am" she looked towards the ground

"Don't be" I said

She looked up at me and smiled a tiny smile

"Hey wanna grab something to eat I'm starving" I said

"Sure" she smiled wider

We got into my car

Wendy ran out the house and up to my car

She knocked on the window

Lucy quickly rolled it down

"Can I come?" Wendy asked

I looked at Lucy who was also looking at me

I smiled

Lucy turned her head back to Wendy

"Come on, it's not a party till you get in" Lucy giggled

"Yay thanks" Wendy thanked getting into the backseat

"How does McDonalds sound?" I asked

"Yay!" They both cheered
