I woke up with a ray of sun in my eyes. I slowly lifted myself up from my bed and rubbed my tired eyes

I looked to my right to see my phone buzzing. I lifted it up to see Mom calling. I slid the the answer button

"H-hello?" I stuttered

"Hello dear. How is everything?" She asked

"I'm fine" I said

"Honey may I talk to Mira?"she asked

"Mira?" I asked

"Your cousin, dear" she said

"Ohh yeah. Give me a minute" I said with a giggle

"Mira call mom!" I shouted

"She'll call you in a minute" I said

"Alright. I love you dear." She said

"I love you to mom" I said

After I hung up the phone I sat on my bed thinking

Why are my memories gone? I want to remember my family. I want to remember my friends. I want to remember my past

"Knock knock" Mira said walking into my room

"Hi Mira" I said smiling

"Today's your first day of school" Mira said sitting on the edge of my bed

"I know. Hey may I ask you something?" I asked looking at Mira

"Of course" she smiled

"How did I lose my memories? And what was my past like?" I asked

"Well you lost your memory when you were in a car accident" she said

"Oh. And my past?" I asked looking at my hands

"Let's not think about the past and think about the present" Mira smiled nervously

"O-ok" I stuttered

"Now come on get ready we're leaving in half an hour" Mira said slapping my leg gently

"Ok" I smiled

NATSU

"Yo ass hole get your lazy ass up. you got school today!" My dad shouted from downstairs

"Screw you!" I shouted back

"What did you say?!" He shouted

"I said give me five minutes" I said

"I'm giving you two. Now get your ass down here" he said

I sat up looking for my phone. finding it under my pillow

I clicked the home button to bring the phone to life

I got six text messages

I scrolled down all of them;

Gray, Gajeel, Jellal, Erza, Elfman, and....mom?!

I was about to read her message but I heard tears coming from my door

I looked up to see my little sister Wendy crying

I shot up from my bed to see what was wrong

"Wendy what's wrong?" I asked kneeling down to her height

"D-d-daddy h-hit m-me" she stuttered showing me her leg

"When?" I said looking into her eyes

"This morning" she cried

"Ok ok I'll take care of it. Go to your room and get ready for school" I said

"But he's going to hurt you" she said

"Don't worry I'll be fine. Now go before he comes up here" I said

She nodded and quickly ran to her room

I shot up, anger filling inside me

I ran down the stairs

"Why the hell did you hit her?!" I shouted

"She was being a brat" he answered

"She's nine years old" I said

"So? She needs to learn her lesson" he shot back

"Your an asshole. You would have never done this if mom was still here" I shot at him

"What did I tell you about bringing up your mother?" He said anger in his eyes

"What I'm telling the truth" I paused "truth hurts, doesn't it?" I smirked

"Oh your gonna get it" he said getting up from his seat

"Come at me" I said getting in a fighting position

---Time skip---

"Remember don't tell anyone" I kneeled down to Wendy's height

"Yes, I remember. But how is your arm?" She said worry in her eyes

"Don't worry I'm fine. You have a brave big brother" I said

She smiled

"Yeah I'm very lucky" she hugged me

I squeezed her

"Well I better go" she said letting go

"Have fun" I waved off

She waved back at me while running up the school steps

As I was walking I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket

It was a text message from Gray

Gray: Dude where are you?

Natsu: I just left my sisters school. Be there in five minutes

I replied

I knew I was gonna be a few minutes late for school, but I don't care

At least I'm away from that asshole
