"The second person we chose was Theodore Wilson."

Scarlet's smile faded so quickly it almost felt animated. Hesitant claps were heard throughout the people around her but she could only hear them as if she was miles away from the room.

She wished she was.

Her body then broke out in a cold sweat and her heart ached with an emotion she knew too well.

Dread.

She had gone into shock, looking around the room with wide eyes and a tight throat at the fact that she was holding her tears from falling.

My dream. My achievement. All stolen by a man.

No. Not just a man. Theodore fucking Wilson.

Dread and disappointment had turned into unbridled rage as she realized exactly who had stolen what was hers.

Turning her head around in quick speed, she met eyes with Theodores rage filled gaze and she could imagine wrapping her hands around his neck but she held back and directed her emotions to Capitan who was looking incredibly nervous.

Milliseconds pass before Theodore and Scarlet yell the same thing at the Captain standing in front of then.

"WHAT!?"

One Hour Later

"You don't understand, I cannot- and I mean CANNOT work with him!"

Scarlet said, pacing around the room, dragging her hands across her face in frustration.

"You cannot?" There is a slight pause as Theodore sighs before he speaks up again. "I cannot work with you! Scarlet, you are insufferable!" Theodore yells, his hands raising up to the sky as he sits on the chair of Capitan's office.

Scarlet stops pacing and swiftly turns around to face him. Her brows furrow in anger as she purses her lips and points an accusatory finger at Theodore before speaking, "You have done nothing but torment me and remind me every single day that i'm not as privileged as you. Yet I am the insufferable one?"
