The DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again

I wanted to do a Gryffindor party oneshot so feast my children. Wolfstar is already together in this one btw. Also, Jegulus because why not.

6th Year:
The Gryffindors had just one another Quidditch match against Hufflepuff. As per usual, the common room was bustling with energy and loud music. Remus hated everything about it. He honestly just wanted to sit in his bed and sleep under the covers with his boyfriend, Sirius Black. Alas, he was over drinking and partying with James. Remus was over in the corner reading. Regulus Black, Sirius' little brother and James' boyfriend had been invited along with his best friends Evan and Barty. so naturally, him and Remus were hanging out in the corner together. "This music couldn't have been any louder, could it have?" Regulus sighed quietly. "Yeah, try having super hearing right now." Remus said back, slightly covering his ears. It was about three days before the full moon, so Remus' hearing was really amplified. He had what the Marauders liked to call 'pre-moonstrual syndrome.' Regulus had found out about his 'furry little problem' by himself, and honestly knew more than Remus himself did, so he knew what Remus meant. Remus didn't think that it would effect their friendship a lot, but you can never know. after he found out, their friendship only grew stronger. "The only reason I'm not taking you back to the Slytherin common room right now is because I think it would be a terrible idea for us to leave James, Barty, Evan, and Sirius alone with alcohol," Regulus said. "D'you wanna go outside for a bit instead?" Regulus added." "Yeah, my head feels like it's about to bust in half." Remus said, still curled up in a ball. Regulus grabbed his hand and led him outside. To anyone else, this would look super romantic. They knew, though, that it was purely platonic and that they both needed a moment from the busy common room. "That is so much better, thanks Reggie." Remus sighed. "No problem Remus, anytime." Regulus answered back with a small smile. They sat out there by the fat lady poster for a while, at peace, with a small conversation here and there.

Meanwhile...

James and Sirius were having the time of their lives. The music was blaring, people were laughing, and everything was good and well. James was already tipsy not even thirty minutes into the party. Sirius followed the tipsy train about twenty minutes after James did. Peter wasn't there at all. He was probably off snogging a Hufflepuff somewhere. Evan and Barty were in the middle of the room dancing with each other happily. For James and Sirius, they were on a table screaming the lyrics to "Young Americans" by David Bowie. "ALL NIGHT, SHE WANTS THE YOUNG AMERICAN." Sirius screamed. "YOUNG AMERICAN, YOUNG AMERICAN, SHE WANTS THE YOUNG AMERICAN" James followed. Once the chorus had faded out for the last time, James and Sirius had gotten down off of the table to take a few much needed breaths. "Holy shit Prongs, we have amazing singing skills!" Sirius said while grabbing another glass of firewhisky. "Hell yeah we do! We should go on tour Padfoot!" James said, his words slightly slurred. "We SHOULD!!!!! I BET MOONY AND REG WOULD LOVE IT!!!" Sirius, still yelling, says. They talked for a little longer until the boys' favorite song came on. "PRONGS KILLER QUEEN IS ON COME SING!" Sirius yells. "COMING PADS!"

Back to the hallway

Remus and Regulus sat out in the hallway for a lot longer than they said they would, but neither of them minded. They accio'd some food outside and were talking about some books that they read. "Hey Rem, Killer Queen is on. It's Sirius and James' favorite Queen song." Regulus said when he heard their obnoxiously loud singing coming from the common room. Yes, they were singing THAT loud. "Regulus, with how much that song is played in the Marauders dorm, I'm pretty sure it's their favorite song in general." Remus answered. Regulus nodded, and then they went back to talking about books until the song ended. "Wait a second, is that GOOD OLD-FASHIONED LOVER BOY?!?!?" Regulus whisper yelled. "Yeah it is, I love that song!" Remus added smiling. "Lets go back in then!" Then they got up and went back in. When they got in there, the first thing they saw were James and Sirius up on the table dancing and singing. When James saw Regulus, and Sirius saw Remus, they all smiled at each other, Remus and Regulus more sarcastically than the other two. Then James and Sirius started to sing.
