chapter one - after new years.

dear diary,
i didn't write yesterday because i was celebrating new years at my best friends house! her name is Amy, and i've known her since grade 2!! did you know we have known each other for eight years? we are going to celebrate out ninth year being friends this year!! im so exited! but moving on!!

i just got home from Amy's house because i spent the night, but it was so much fun! we watched scary movies, we watched the countdown together, and we even went to a cat café!!!! it was so much fun and i cant wait for next time!

Amy also suggested me a really cool website called "magical girl.com" or something? she said its an online game where you can be a magical girl and make new friends! im going to try it tonight or tomorrow, im so exited!!

she said her username was "cherry.watermelon.magic~", just writing that down for later!!

mom said she would be back this morning, but its the afternoon now, and im starting to get worried, hopefully she just got lost or something..!

mom said when she gets back we are going to go to that new restaurant down the road!

anyways, bye! i need to go meet amy for the project we're working on!

i sat up after writing in my diary and went to my dresser to get changed into more comfortable clothes. i chose a pink t-shirt and tan cargo shorts. i grabbed my bag and put in a load of craft supplies, my charger, headphones, and snacks.

i grabbed my keys and as i was about to leave i had realized i forgot my phone. i ran back into my room, trying not to dirty the floor with my grey, half broken converse, and i grabbed my phone.

there was a message from Amy, it said "Hey~! whrre are ypuuuuu! ive been waitng fir so lpng!" ........ wow, i didnt know it was possibe to make that many spelling mistakes in one message.

i quickly responded, as i slowly waked out of my room "hi! im just leaving the hoise now! cya soon!" soon, Amy responded "do you mean 'house'? not 'hoise' lmao" i almost threw my phone.

you correct my one spelling mistake, but you cant even spell 'for' correctly? ugh im just gonna leave so i dont have to deal with these dumb spelling mistakes anymore.

i left the house and locked the door behind me, it was just a short walk to amys, i dont think i need a coat? or do i? im not sure. im to lazy to go back in and grab it anyways, so why take it?

i was almost at amys, as i started getting a call, from amy. i declined it, it would have been dumb to accept it anyways, im almost there, i can talk to her when i get in.

i unlocked amys front door with the key she gave me yesterday, and walked in. i took off my shoes and went upstairs to her room, where she was sitting ag her desk playing a game on her computer.

"oh hey silvy! i didnt realize you were here! i was just playing that game i suggested you! its called magical girl online, but the website is called magical girl.com!"

Amy talks to much.

"oh nice, are you ready to work on the project? its due in 2 days." i responded, slightly agitated.

"oh yeah! sorry, ill just leave this server! did you bring the paint? i need yours because i ran out a couple days ago when i was painting a picture for my cousin! have you met my cousin? he is really nice, hes just like you, you should meet him someday! maybe next time he comes over i'll introduce you to h-" amy was saying before i cut her off. "amy, please, i brought the paint, now lets work on this."

she clicked a few buttons, and then she sat on the floor beside me and started showing me where to paint, as if i didnt already know.
