As the weeks went by, I grew closer to Aizawa-sensei. He was always there to listen when I needed to talk and gave me advice on everything from hero training to dealing with my dysphoria. He even helped me come out to my classmates as transgender.

It wasn't an easy decision, but I knew I couldn't keep hiding who I really was forever. So one day, I gathered up all my courage and told the class that I was a boy, not a girl. There were some confused and shocked looks, but Aizawa-sensei was there to back me up. He explained to everyone that gender identity wasn't something that could be seen on the outside, and that I was still the same person they had always known.

After that, things started to change for the better. My classmates began using my preferred name and pronouns, and I felt more comfortable being myself around them. Aizawa-sensei was a big part of that, always making sure to correct anyone who slipped up with my name or pronouns and making sure I felt included in everything.

One day, I was sitting in Aizawa-sensei's office talking about my plans for the future when he surprised me by saying, "You know, Hitoshi, I'm proud of you. It takes a lot of courage to be true to yourself like you have been."

I blushed and looked down at my lap. "Thanks, sensei," I mumbled. "It's not always easy, but I'm glad I can be myself now."

Aizawa-sensei nodded, his expression serious. "I know it's not easy, but it's important. And I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what. If you ever need anything, just let me know."

I smiled, feeling a warmth in my chest. Aizawa-sensei may not be my biological father, but in that moment, he felt like one to me. And I knew that no matter what challenges I faced in the future, he would be there to support me every step of the way.
